This is a really fun game, the only true complaint I have is that it should be possible to complete the level and return to the hub with a key press (spacebar, for example), instead of a click.
I killed the center bug out of three that I was fighting, but then it got back up, swapped to the first position, and attacked me. It said it had 0 health, I couldn't target it with attacks, and it never swapped with either of the other two bugs. It killed me before I could take out the other two, so I don't know what would've happened when it got down to just the one.
The grammar in the opening needs work and it needs more of an explanation about the magic staff section. All it says is that adding runes can increase the cost. It should have something saying how much it would increase the cost by.
I found a rather strange problem, I was in the corner of the forest in the world map beneath the first city, got into a fight, and I ended up on the other side of the forest. I went to the second city, and ending up jumping ahead in the story and never learning heal.
Multiple times, I've had the title screen show up during the game, blocking me from seeing the pictures or choices, but letting me see the text of them talking. I'm using Chrome.
I beat the game, got gold on every level, then went back and did every level in ONE SHOT. By far the worst level to try to one shot was The Preparation. Of course, it's by Dim.
It would be great if there were a way to put in your own controls. This is really only a problem with the ranged attack. Multiple times, I've lost progress from accidentally hitting Ctrl and W. Other than that, amazing game and I hope you keep working on it!
(Update: I just pushed an update(Version 1.005) where backspace also shoots. Please let me know if there are other keyboard conflicts)
Custom controls will be definitely doable in a future version. Until then, try using arrow keys if you have them on your keyboard.
This has happened to me multiple times now. When reloading, it would take up the normal amount of bullets to fully load the gun. But the amount of ammo in the gun would then drop within 3 seconds of reloading, without me firing a single shot. At one point, it dropped the ammo down to zero, then did it again when I tried to reload.
Just a bug that I noticed, your population won't change from your food production when it's at its cap. Even if you start starving your people. Apparently, being crowded is bad, being starving is bad, but being overcrowded and starving is just fine.
I never used slow time as a way to dodge, I used it to kill. If you slow time and shoot as much as you can, even your starter pistol can make a deadly barrage.
There are some people that post guild raids in the game's chat, and that is completely useless. To take part in a guild raid, you have to be in that guild, and all guild members can look in the guild tab to find their guild's raid. You will never get more people in a guild raid by posting it in the chat, so just don't try it!
I think there should be a bonus in the first mission for killing the guard at the end and going to the door. Even if it's just a cutscene saying that the door is locked from the other side or something.
If you hold shift your robot will stop moving and if you hold control your robot will attack and keep moving. These are in the list of hotkeys/shortcuts and make fighting easier.
Dilly5, I have no idea if it's normal or not ^^
