Little observation, when fish die their gives off one last burst of bubbles.

Caution SPOILERS below Played the hacked version, you cannot beat the captain + all fish disappear after captain shows up.

In the final timeline, the music when the calculations are complete just changed from troubling to epic. I like to see everyone together for one happy ending though.
