There is some strange issue indeed with losing a few diamonds, probably because it doesn't add them and replaces them instead, so if you had, say 6 and reclaimed 50, you will have 50 instead of 56, small oversight, will be fixed, I imagine.
This is a little thing, but the new 5 diamonds per reaching a lover level with a girl doesn't apply to the people who have reached said level with them, those that are possible to reach, Casey and Ellie being the two, so maybe if you change up the diamond bonuses, maybe force a reset on the affected achievements.
Could we have a second form of currency, which could be gained for reseting depending on how far you've gone each time, which we could exchange for say, faster hobby gain, increased salary etc.? It could function as a slower version of the diamond shop possibly.
I find this as one of the most charming idle games I've played in a very long time. If I was to say how to make it better, I suppose continue being so over the top, I absolutely love the silly approach and the girls commentary (especially Mio's nerdy puns)... seeing as there is a lot of waiting, as expected in an idle game, I suggest there being extra lines/commentary from the girls dependant maybe on your traits/relationship with other girls you meet etc., maybe have some sort of questions you'd answer for buffs and what not (if you answer to their liking your adequate perks would increase by a certain %) and so on and on.
Nice!! So happy you are liking it ^_^ I def want to see more dialogue in there, and the more ridiculous the better. Someone suggested having a dinosaur girl, lol so maybe!
Amazing game so far, figured a few things could still be implemented, maybe implement angel upgrades, such as increasing their buff duration, effect etc, maybe even add automatic angel clicker (would have to be probably quite pricey).
Also once you reach higher up, your heroes can easily overkill monsters, adding the ability to kill several monster per single hit might be an interesting feature. Or adding a very small chance for a boss to drop some piece of equipment, we are talking very small chance so actual boss killing has a reason after the first kill, since the gold gains from them are not worth it at past lv 40.
The style of this game reminds me of Krinkels Madness series, bonus points, combat is reasonable scaled and fun to go through, some more points, improving your character in a miriad of ways possible outside of simple leveling grind, have some more amazing points, styling the world adding a little extras like looking for your little playful kids, well done tutorial, world that is silent yet has tons of character, I could go on...
Let me say this, if you ever decide to expand on this idea and make a sequel I will be all over this.
There is something super satisfying about watching gems literally explode from a rock, those miners are damn good workers, to be able to mine perfectly shaped and flawless gemstones instead of chunks of a crystal (hint hint)... I'm just kidding... great idle game can't wait until more features are added.
Also sapphire formula probably needs adjusting as it scales way faster than it probably should have
okay, few things
1) This game is immensely fun once the upgrades start to matter and there is a lot of stuff on screen
2) The game PUNISHES you by being good, the better at the game you are the faster you clear levels, the less exp (and upgrades) you get... which should NEVER be the case, simply allowing us to replay already won levels would fix this blatant issue
3) one time power ups for chalenges, what? So we do a chalenge to get an exclusive and pretty cool looking power up, only to be used once and then it's gone forever, you are making us work for something for 3-5 minutes at a time to get a power-up that lasts for all but 5 seconds...they should refresh each mission to be even remotely worth if you just want us to use them once a mission and only one kind at a time
The constant connectivity issues are really killing the game experience for me at the moment... I love the game as is, but despite my connection being stable, the game keeps on telling me every few seconds "failed to connect to the server" over and over again
There were some server issues this morning, which caused the pop ups. We are planning on making them less obtrusive for players with spotty internet so they only see it if they can't save every 5 or 10 minutes, rather than every action.
after reaching zone 90ish... I realized the soft-resets are not really doing much given you have the option to add 100 points at a time in the perk screen well here is a shocker that's never going to happen so while this game is extremely fun to keep going with there is not much point progressing given the helium gain increase is additive while the cost increase of perks is exponential. If that were tweaked I'd absolutely love this game to death and probably send millions of trimps to their doom
I'd say instead of having simply reduced quest speed for each hero spirit let us use them as currency to buy perks say 5 spirits for something like "Skilled trader lvl 1 - reduced risk by 5% permanently per each level" or such things would actually give people reason to reset since right now yes its nice to be eventually able to turbo-complete most quests but its not much to go on. Other than that though its a great concept and its really well executed.
At the rate my swarm is growing I dont think its actually infesting just a world...hell I doubt its infesting a solar system, probably not even a galaxy would be enough to fit as many critters as one of my overminds controls
Great game as it lets you tailor the gameplay as comfortable as you want it...Though I feel the upgrades are a bit mundane in the long run, yes 100% extra production is nice and all, but it doesnt make much of an impact, maybe upgrades that allow you to increase the effect of spells slowly, but steadily say 10 extra seconds on the timeshift of Tax collection per upgrade or few upgrades to increase the max mana pool as an angel affiliate I dont like autocast halving the production, but the mana pool fills literally in just few minutes, speaking of which I also feel that all the races should have some form of mana acceleration tied to their buildings, since the spells feel a bit useless with anyone else, but angels.
I got here thinking oh a tower defense, then I noticed its an R2 game and guess what its still a copy paste Pay2Win...I know...literally nobody is surprised...
Guys as stated by the queen herself(Yotsuba) I quote
"I am reworking the entire system to make country conquering more fun rather than just gaining some gold and troops off them I will let you use troops to enhance their benefit as well as adding more structures to build"
So dont forget that the game and its mechanics are still very much just prototypes and probably will be changed completely, so...cut yer yappin generals or ya'll be send to the block and I will have ye heads rollin' by the sun settin'...aherm...that is all...
I wonder if the countries further down the line wont require a bit of a buff to their multiplier, that would make them scale accordingly, I mean right now a 1% increase in gold production for your economy is 100 knights, but the same for countries is 115000 knights instead, which for people with a ton of knights later on would make the income from countries pretty much useless.
I am reworking the entire system to make country conquering more fun rather than just gaining some gold and troops off them I will let you use troops to enhance their benefit as well as adding more structures to build. ~Taiga
The amount of complaining about the game being too slow is too damn high... come on guys its an idle game...one being still worked on on top of that...least you could do is at least try to think before posting complains...
So far a nice time-waster, although here is an idea, how about utilizing your soldiers a bit more than attacking, maybe have a country/island that doesnt get captured and allows you to throw troops at it for gold, or a defend mechanic where your countries get attacked from time to time(or you manually trigger it) and gradually grow in strength, if you win you get an extra gold/troops out of the country, if you loose the country is going to become independent again.
I have to say, I was going into this game assuming the classic, pay 2 win ratio, but honestly the game itself is pretty fun, combat could use maybe a bit more interaction, maybe be able to micro your capital ships to new positions as the battle unfolds, but that might be just me, however what could be allowed is maybe an item something along the lines of more building slots at a time maybe 2 extra building slots for 200 credits for 48/72 hours which would be reachable by both player groups. Other than that so far I have to say Im enjoying it a great deal.
So essentially all this really is, is a tower defense with cooldowns on your upgrades and slapped overpriced microtransactions as a bonus, hot damn...yep...where is the emergency exit out of this plane headed to disaster.
Nice!! So happy you are liking it ^_^ I def want to see more dialogue in there, and the more ridiculous the better. Someone suggested having a dinosaur girl, lol so maybe!
