I have been playing for three days and I got Cassie to be my lover (the other ones are impossible due to the Hobbies learning curves). I will take that as a nice conclusion of my bachelor's V-day and move on to other things, but I do appreciate all the fun this game has given me.
The funnest part to me was the encounters. One thing that made me crack is: Protagonist: "there is no spoon." Elle was traumatized. LOL!
Also the art for Iro... really? Blue jacket, lightning symbol, rainbow hair... that is literally Rainbow Dash.
Still, thanks again for the game.
Hey thanks for playing!! We're happy you enjoyed it. We love Elle and her whimsy; if you come back in a few weeks getting those other girls to the lover status should be easier.
As the most popular comment pointed out, there is a balance issue in which the hero is too powerful. For the developer: mathematically speaking, the enemy power increases exponentially, the cost of upgrade also increases exponentially, BUT the hero power also increases exponentially, faster than enemy power.
I think the 4-wizard build is pretty good too. With all special upgrades, you can spam special FOREVER. I got the hard badge with that, but inevitably died on Wave 18.
Things seem too familiar to me. The gameplay and the birds, balloons, etc. is very similar to the epic coaster by Armor Games. The starting and ending sound effect is the same as Kutar. More originality will be appreciated!
Not that the jump key does not work, just that it does not work if you hold the run key and THEN jump. That's pretty bad, as run-jump is crucial in all platformers. Indeed, lack of originality.
