It's probably just me, but there is a massive lag spike whenever an opponent begins the attack animation, which makes it kinda hard to block since it ignores my key inputs during that time. any way to remedy this? This game looks really good and It seems that block is an imperative mechanic. I would hate to have to put this one down because of this.
The game is fun addictive. Although I think some of the skills could be improved to retain usefulness at later levels of the game. Like say warrior's Precision grants an additional +1 Att per 9 levels per rank of the skill, so say a level 12 warrior with rank 2 would have +2 Att from the skill and +4 Att from levels. Or say Wizard's Spell Damage grants +1 Min Damage per 8 levels per rank and +1 Max Damage per 8 Int per rank, such that at level 4 with rank 2 and 12 Int the 2-5 damage on fireball would get +2 Min Damage from level and +3 Max Damage from Int. Although, this may ovepower the importance of adapting to the gear you find, so you could reduce the benefits or ignore me completely.
Yeah, it would be interesting to see artifacts be able to do something, not remove obstacles from the puzzle like killing enemies, but something that still makes you use similar methods but makes it slightly easier like say the King's Scepter slows/freezes certain enemies and the Crown of Wisdom occasionally provides hint arrows.
Calling this a pixel is a bit much when the resolution for everything is horredously inconsistent or various mechanics or objects are very out of place. Agh sorry for the comment spam, just new things bug me every few moments. Oh yeah everything unboundedgames said as well. I'll take another look at this some time in the future.
Reminds me much of ROTMG, which I like. Although, there are elements of the game that really bug me, like how big everything is in relation to the screen when it's a bullet hell and some other tiny elements.
Anyone get the skeleton king to work well? There are few int characters and even when I pump ALL my points into INT, my skeletons get one-shotted by everything and can't kill a thing.
Summoned skeletons' damage and HP depend on the King's stats. So if King's HP is low their health will be low too. Try to split points between INT and VIT for the best result.
I might have found a glitch: If an event pops up while dragging something, that object disappears. I was dragging one of my painters when that happened and now my poor Leonardo is all alone. D':
On the other hand, great game :'D
The game is awesome, but sometimes even on the lowest graphics settings the car swerves to the right not responding to my keyboard and the aiming reticule doesn't move, also unresponsive to my mouse, which accounts for most of my deaths.
I've noticed another bug. It seems that objects too far away from the friend sometimes despawn, including the player... which happens more often when I'm looting while she is being the foolhardy badass that she so despises.
I seem to have encountered a glitch. I went to dispose a blue beetle egg and instead it disposed of every egg in my inventory except the blue beetle egg. Any explanation or solution? I really don't want to carry 15 blue beetle eggs just so I can keep my one field snake egg. -_-
The series is really awesome and this game is too. Although I think the new difficulty properly challenges the player at many points, I think some parts are unnecessarily difficult due to bugs or poor design in certain aspects at parts (ie: ally's ai and rope during capsule escort). I kinda also wished that enemies would hesitate before firing or take time to focus their aim and not so easily be able to detect me if they were looking the other direction.
I am still stuck on the capsule escort mission, it is quite difficult. The capsule itself is ok, but the ropes break too easily. Once the ropes break, it's game over. I've even managed to make it to the end with the ropes broken but the capsule intact riding on the back of the truck. When I get to the end it still says game over. I'll try this again if the creator makes any updates.
Awesome and truly challenging game. Although I would have liked it if in the zombotron series in general when replaying missions it used and saved to the current character rather than use and save to the character when you had first played the mission. It would have made it easier to collect all those hidden upgrades or rack-up the cash to get some of those guns, but that's just me :D
