Great SHMUP! That said, though, I do wish I could replay levels and whatnot, possibly without having a high score? That way you can keep the high score element you threw in there and keep those of us lazy bastards happy at the same time!
This game is great fun. The design, graphics and concept are all top notch, my only gripe is that as I learned that double clicking is the main way for Peakot to interact with the environment, but after getting an item I find that I just have to click once, which I always get confused.
Bigpiclad: be sure to see how much his total goes up by before reporting a bug. Realist AI does this as a way of showing you that you too can choose one die and one die only and are not tied down to the obvious menu selections.
What an excellent excellent game. The art, the sound, the design, all near flawless which is incredibly impressive for a flash game. I commend you, sir.
Cool art style, though it needs more animation; good initial idea, hell it's a defense game, but it's...over consistent there in that it's really really repetitive; I like the varying weapons, but the damage, cost and overall interface for them is an absolute mess. I like it, don't get me wrong, but for everything I like there's something to counter it.
VERY nice job bringing fast paced action like this to a flash game. It has a kind of polish I was not expecting from an independent developer like this.
Excellent simple RPG, reminds me of some older browser based ones I used to play like Dragon Court. That said, though, there's always room for improvement: The writing flip flops a bit; most of it is rather witty, but some parts, particularly near the beginning of the game, really need to be rewritten. More variation on stats and effects would be really cool as would some different weapons and armor. I'd also like to have a consistent stat bar. Good job!
