The game is great, but the story is plain awful! I would have prefered that it was just a candle that is alive, simple and working. If you're gonna make a story first ask if it's necessary and if it isn't make sure that it's a good story!
Finally did it, beat the game in harder. This is how i did it:
first took over some apartments/trailer parks/etc and started scouting right away till the very end
then recruited alot of people and took two labs and a police station
found city hall and took it and squares around it (it was in corner so it didn't add any danger to fort just secured that in a horde fight i wouldn't lose city hall)
then i just scavanged and recruited (i had everything scouted out) and threw a party and started to build constitution.
Then i fought hordes day after day and lost people and squares and people began rioting. but i recruited more people all the time so it didn't really matter when people died also city hall was in corner and safe. then i lost food and all but barely just won.
best game ever!
phew got the hard badge. I think it's a little sad though that this game is so much based on luck. Getting spikes after another is really frustrating. Take that Learn To Fly game for example, there is no luck involved which makes it much nicer game since there is no-one else to blame than yourself in case you do screw up.
