The steering in this game is awful even with upgrades. Random big birds pretty much ruins the game too, there's nothing you can do to avoid it if it happens to be right above your head when you accend.
Might be the best game on Kongregate. I know this has been up here for a long time, is there any sequels?
Also, the one flaw that keeps bugging me is that you're disabled for a very long time even by the lesser gloops, like you WILL die if there's any hostiles nearby.
Oh.. and there's really no need to add size to the tank, since the payoff for being much slower and larger is way to bad.
No need to have 6 kinds off bubbles..... and... bubblepoints is overated, ADD MORE GUNPOINTS :)
What's the point of having more than three types of weapons? (cannon, machinegun, ordinary), really.. when you can just add more of a weapon for variations.
You DON'T need a hundred of weapons when you don't have the gunpoints, seriously.. it's just pissing me off!
You get far too less gunpoints than you should recieve.. the stages lasts FOREVER due to that you do not have enough firepower, spending a couple of minutes to bring the toughest enemies down is not fun.
The game is too easy while draging out the time far too long. The damage you recieve is way bellow where it should be.. you can basicly just avoid the big shots and still have full life after a room.
-Make it harder.
-Make more firepower available (not weapontypes)
-Make it more fastpaced (i.e less enemy hp, less hp overall or more firepower)
The hitdedection is assage..
Sometimes bullets will go through the head without anything happening..
But it is most noticable when using the grenades.
How could a zombie not die from 2-3 grenades right on.
Asside from that, I think the running ones are a bit too spammed.. decrease those for the next last stand, and fix the hitdetection and it will be grea.
The clutters are prio1 :).. 3 of them might be quite dangerous if you don't do something about them quickly.. Even with the suit, they'll wear it out. Btw the best item.
2 things this game falls flat on..
1. When bumped by a gloople or something else, you're basicly dead, if there're normal amount of enemies on the screen.
You shouldn't take THAT long before recovering from a bump. I mean, geez.. how far kan a biter move in 2 secounds? they'll eat you when you're bumped!!
2. The swing radius is a bit wierd.. if an enemy is a bit too far to the left, he'll get hit.. while if an anemy is under the blade exactly where the swing would end, there's no hit..
This have fooled me a couple of times, thinking I will hit the gloop but misses him.
Other than that, it's a good game.
Fix these two things and it'll be awesome, mainly problem 1 I'd say.
This game sucks! Points for the action, points for the ability to upgrade to nasty weapons.. But whatehell the f***ing cannon ain't shooting were I'm aiming and the ship doesn't steer were I want to go when enemies starts to rank up :(((
