Arkatufus, don't get all pissy because some people didn't like your game. It's a cool concept, no doubt, but it need some work. 1: The status bars that follow the ship need to go, they need to be larger, and stationary on the sides of the screen. 2: It's hard to tell what's going on when the action gets crazy. No one like getting hit by bullets they couldn't see. 3: The player's ship should also be a bit smaller in my opinion.
I'll give this 3/5 stars, but only for the cool foundation and catchy music. The game itself needs a lot of polish before I'd call it "fun".
The sad thing is this is a LOT better and more fun than a lot of the games in the "New" list that people actually spent time on. +1 star for spelling "lives" correctly. I'm sick and tired of seeing "lifes".
Great controls, great graphics. You do have to be in the right mood to play this one though. It's not for everyone. The end boss seems impossible until you figure out his pattern, then he's ultra easy. To quote 'uggo': "There actually is a pattern to the final boss... If he crosses low with his mouth shut, he'll go high with his moouth open next and vice versa. I struggled for 5 minutes before I stopped to pay attention. Or maybe I got lucky and it just randomly worked like that for me".
Why is it upside down? This is ultra confusing. It says pull down, but does that mean down towards the bottom of the screen, which would actually be up, or does it mean down towards the ground, which would really be down, but it would actually be up on the screen.
