Im really not “technically” an Ex-Navy SEAL. I was training and preparing for BUD/s (Basic Underwater Demolition) courses, SEAL tactics, and Hell Week when my CO (Commanding Officer) informed me that a disorder i have had since i was 15 (Bi-Polar Disorder) made me unable to continue training with the United States Navy SEALs… I was 5 months away from becoming a certified combat trained SEAL and recieving my SEAL Trident. Only about 11 out of every 500 people that train to be a SEAL actually recieve their trident at the end of training. I do know several former Navy SEALs and active Navy SEALs, but dont ask for me to tell you their names because they are classified Spec Ops (Special Operations) and they BEST that could happen to me is a court martial and jail time. Plus i would never even think about doing that with the men i trained so hard with. Also, dont ask what SEALs do as training, or on combat missions as those are highly classified as well and as above, they could court martial me and throw me in jail. Even if those were not HIGHLY classified, you would still have a hard time getting anything out of me, as some of the things we did, or trained to do, well you can use your imagination there… For those of you that dont know what Bi-Polar disorder is, let me tell you the “real” definition of it… Bi-Polar Disorder is not a disorder that many people think is a disorder that makes people crazy and psychotic. Its not, in fact the only way Bi-Polar can make a person psychotic or crazy is if the person refuses to take the medication that reduces the effects of the disorder… It is merley a disorder in which a person goes through phases of depression and happiness without warning in-between the two… at least that is the simple version. Overall, Bi-Polar is not a life-threatening disease, just people with Bi-Polar cant control when their emotions arise and what emotions will arise unlike people without Bi-Polar. I am a very stable person because i keep up on my medication. Im a decent guy and always willing to help… Please dont think that because of my disorder that i am incapable of doing things and am crazy/psychotic. Im just a normal guy with a tiny setback in life. If you want to know anything more or have any questions, let me know and i will be glad to answer them. Oh yes, and one more thing… i have the most amazing girlfriend a guy could ask for ;) She is my world and i love her with all of my heart. She is my heaven, my angel and my princess.
