Another way to is to search for the 'Flash Player Standalone' you can get the player from Adobe still (flashplayer_32_sa), and use it to run the downloaded swf from here.
This game is basically classic hotkey-style MMO healing combat distilled to its core - and you are in full control of your party! No rude players and AFKers here! If you liked healing in WoW or FFXIV, this game is absolutely worth a shot.
The 'grind' that's mentioned in these comments starts fairly early at around the 5th boss as expected from a game that advertises itself partly as an incremental; but its no different from the MMOs it draws inspiration from: Kill earlier bosses, gear up and level up your group to make progress in the raid.
I'm really looking forward to what else the dev has in store for this game. One suggestion: Customisable hotkeys (or alphabetic hotkeys like D for dispel).
Heh, the medium was the hard badge. Soon as I killed him I got both. Trick is to stack up gravestones when hitting him for fast exp, hit graves when he flies up and get pink asap. Once you have it, finish him off, charge magic for the skull and swing away. If you mash A hard enough, he won't even use his fireball attack and you kill it in under 10 seconds.
I've just spent around 4 hours getting the hard badge, and it didn't even give me it. And for some stupid reason the game decided to delete my save after it completed.
Just so you know, one of the geek quotes is thus: 'Good game but 0/5 because of 1% locked content. Pathetic.' Certainly applies to half the comments on this game.
Fun game, let down with spelling errors and a bug on the Outpost challenge. Doesn't seem to grant credit even if manage to kill 4-5 enemies with every weapon before killing them. Not that it's easy when everythings maxed out and can kill in two ubercrits.
Played this a few times before badges were released. Wrote up what everything did to try and get the Rank 1 (should have been another badge that) along with other badges. Lost at the very end of the Kong-exclusive dungeon due to lack of hitpoints. Forgot that the tier system was wacky, got 92k points and 99 fame and still end up with Completey Unknown :S
Pretty easy once you know what weapons are worth using. Arc Spread is awesome and is good enough to get you enough cash for Lightning. Shortshield is a brilliant replacement for the later levels which are pretty much 'stall enemies until you can use Lightning again'.
Only played for about ten minutes so far, loved the second game, and it seems my favourite Impossible badge combo on that might still work in this game xD. As for differences between the games, I can't seem to see them, then again, its been half a year.
Instead of crying about the game being too hard, why don't think about how best to exploit the games flaws?
For any of the levels, just move diagonally and shoot behind you. The enemies will catch up to you eventually but by that time, you will be able to kill them. As long as you don't have an enemy crash into you when a new wave starts, you're good. Best bang for your buck is the level 45-49 gun, it shoots 3 basic bullets in a spread. Split other upgrades between engine and shield. For the boss, keep moving in the diagonal, but then move out of the way when it gets close. Done right, it'll wrap around the level and you can repeat until its dead.
The hardest part of the impossible badge has got to be the hydra duo. The Legend-Hydra glitch adds to that, as you can't use your most powerful attack.
Your main defence (Blind) has about a 25% chance of actually landing at best and both hydra have a very large number of instant kills (Dark AoE attack if both use it, 12 bites, reaper).
The tank seems easy enough, got to it once before but the boss guy started summoning back to back Ion Cannons. Gotta take him out first next time.
145 continutes in insane, took me to the pillars level to realise I could just hold down the left key to stop the scenery moving even when I was in the air.
A fun game but does the combo sound have to be so loud? I drop my combo far more often because of that. Its almost easier to play without the sound at all.
Crusher2110: You can't be hurt, the game gives you a red flash but there's no damage.
As for the Impossible badge, its tricky, the forum guide is very useful. You don't want to fight a swordsman until your 4th fight, as if you get him earlier, you'll have to fight him again and hes hardest in the set.
399 direct missile hits, talk about a kick in the teeth.
I personally like the siphon + flak combo, boosting that with EMP later and then falling back to just the base on the end-game. That allows you to get a lot of disables, without having to rely on an emergency button to make them.
