I fell like if you can bring people back from the dead, you should at least be able to repair a wall. I find it really frustrating to put in some devastating mages on a wall only to have it be destroyed despite my berzerker standing directly in front of it.
I'd be interested to see a sequel by which, once said robot has regained his standing in the Mother, He gains control and leads expeditions to further examine these mysterious creatures of the past. There could possibly be the need to gather resources to build/improve several different robots, like the sea and air one that was glimpsed in the end. It may take away from the overall aesthetic of the original, but would help advance the story and add a new sort of gameplay with familiar characters. Plus, the player could delve into the world of whatever the hell mother is and exactly how machines gained sentience.
man... I was SOO expecting Christina's consciousness to actually be her mom's, so her consciousness is still alive, but not fully functional. I kept imagining the Phoenix to mean that a person could effectively be reborn into the body of their child (like the mythical creature, rising from its own ashes). Time travel and alternate universes are awesome too, though. I was kind of expecting Dave to be evil, though.
*looks at notice board* "anna was not seen anywhere near Lincoln station". *proceeds to die while gathering medicine, when finally finished gathering medicine,* "Survivors inform me that anna was not seen anywhere near Lincoln station." You don't say!
I love it. Absolutely mauling anything in your path. Plus, you end up with an innumerable number of piranha. I only wish I could form a pack that included every single one of them. We shall cloud the ocean with our fanged fury!
Good, but could use help with the shop. Maybe not setting the prices so high? I was playing for like an hour and a half and barely got enough to rack up a few upgrades.
