All in all a perfectly fine platformer, modern and retro at the same time.
I only have one niggle, it would be lovely to be able to turn off the music without turning off the sound effects.
Fun game all in all, despite a few control issues.
Can't cling to a wall by jumping at it, has to start from the base.
Moving from one screen to another negates all movement, making some transitions nigh imposible. Other than these frustrations, it's a fun platformer.
Dear Purecube:
I've got items R, J, C and T - I can run, jump, walk through walls and cling to walls. Can't find W. I can't yet fly or survive water - I've covered all the routes I can see, which includes wall jumping up steep walls to desert areas. I've picked up four out of five keys, green square, blue "pause" symbol, yellow circle and red triangle - the cross is nowhere to be found. Nor have I found any keyholes yet.
I could really use a map, some hints and/or at this point, a walkthrough.
Help?
It's a bit buggy, which is a shame, as it's a fun game.
Approx. every third outing gives you a black screen and the game in effect stops. You then have to refresh and sit throug the loading process again.
Initially a fun bit of jumping about, but once you reach the zappy electric bits it's over - I simply can't get past it. Patiently I've jumped through the same few inches of corridor only to get zapped or shot - There may be some upgrade I've missed which will allow me to get past the electric barrieres? As it is frustration has killed my joy of the game. Other than that it's a fun bit of retro platform stuff.
You can usually duck and crawl to avoid getting shot while passing through an electric barrier. The area with the large number of electric barriers is extra hard but optional. The reward if you make it to the power-up is armor that makes the electric barriers heal instead of hurt you.

Wonderful timethief of a game. Relaxed and almost meditative.
Like the idea of being some old forest elemental or ent, just putterin' about making stuff grow. It's a bit too dark when night falls, and a map would be lovely. Otherwise I was wholly entertained. Thanks.
Odd little bugs seems to have crept into the game lately, enemies that freeze, become invulnerable but doesn't disappear, preventing finishing a round. Your character vanishing with a new game, leaving a street full of zombies, a gun sight but no man - I think somehow the code has deteriorated?
Fun idle game, it does however have a few bugs.
Every time I try to decipher an alien email, the sound turns off and the possibility to do the research is gone.
Stats also fail to mention completed research projects.
these are minor quibbles, as it's a fun idle game.
Hey Foob, Thanks for your awesome feedback! Glad you liked it.
