Visuals, concept, and audio are all awesome.
This game severely fails on one of the most important aspects: controls. Seriously, game shouldn't force you to fight your own controls.
Give us a reason why we can't just strafe around the border and that would've kicked the difficulty up a notch. Gets very bland very quickly. But otherwise pretty solid.
You have your graphics, you have your sounds, you have your concept. What you don't have, is good execution.
You dump the player first thing into the game without a thought of letting them know what does what and not near enough time to prepare themselves. "What good is an officer or a spec ops soldier? What's the difference between the weapons for the less military savvy?". Your manual was INFODUMP,INFODUMP - no wonder half the people here don't even bother. Through the number of times I tried this, I had one, ONE supply crate dropped anywhere near my troops, every other time was at the very TOP of the map, allowing the Germans to grab my goodies instantly. Your difficulty curve went from "minor squad of pistols" to "a tank and several rocketeers", g'dammit. Also, controls were a minor pain, I couldn't get a soldier to move occasionally and I couldn't tell who I was trying to move. Perhaps if you cleared these things up the game could be more approachable.
13 days when I bought most powerups, 11 on the dot with only the artillery.
This game was actually quite fun. Gets in, has it's way and makes off before anyone gets annoyed.
Horizontal movement is too slow. Minor errors in construction exaggerate to the point I've had a piece in the middle suddenly fly out.
Fascinating concept, but frustrating at best.
Fancy first parter. Wasn't too happy with the hit detection (oh lol you're next to a guy, you lose) and the camera was actually a pain for the most part. May as well not have it scroll at all. The choice to have high health or high dodge was a good one, and the game was fun enough for a short play. If you DO make a sequel, perhaps more strategy to enemies and the environment would be in order. gg, would play again.
A unique game for sure. Was all fine until after level 50 where it changed from "what is it?" to "Do you know exactly what word I'm thinking of?". Oh, and it's difficult to decipher between disappearing and fading lines.
A good game barring two design issues that really put me off.
An overall freaky atmosphere its predecessor had and HANDY YES I LOVE THAT GUY. While some puzzles are a hell of a lot more logical than before, there's still that "oh lol lets hide in the corners of rooms and make tiny hotspots that nobody would easily find" issue.
Also: OH LOAD THAT AXED GUY AOSFALSFJLAFJSKLASMEREA. Well played sir.
Short, to the point and cute. Funny how much a situation changes when you move one person around.
I've managed to combine all the endings (aside from tragedy) into one, lawl.
Let this be the basis of which all survival/defense games should be.
If a game in future tries to be this and less, torches and pitchforks shall ensue.
On my slow computer this game proved to be absolutely boring. Whilst the HUD and Graphics meshed well together, the music got repetitive FAST, thanks for giving the ability to disable it. Unpausing led to me getting smacked before I could react and more often than not enemies aggravated me more than threatened me. Feels more like a chore than a game.
Pretty simple and easy to play. Would be good for a lunch-break play. However, for a LENGTHY game such as this, lack of a save function forces the player through all -50- levels in a single sitting.
If you didn't know how to make it save, you could have at least put passwords in.
