Wow. Despite the fact that there really was no point to that, I found it strangely enjoyable... I think some music could really add to it. Get something soft and pretty. (I was listening to C148's "Cat" (from Minecraft!) while playing and it went pretty well.) Great game overall, though! You did a bunch of things well that I didn't even think about but made the game experience incredible! (Like the way the flowers grow back--brilliant!) It definitely needs a hard badge for upgrading everything. :)
Great game! There are some things I would have liked to have changed, though. While it said that the Black and White Robes would be back to recruit me after I decided not to join either, they never did come. (I wanted to join the White Robes but hit the wrong button.) Also, I do wish I could continue past the end so that I could challenge that Hermit again after I had more power. That would've been cool. Overall, it was a nice game--unique and fun. 4/5.
What the... Challenged the Hermit and got murdered. Unless you're convinced you can defeat a dude with 1000 Mana and Health and very strong attacks, don't do it! The punishment is brutal!
I think the game has gotten a bit too complex and a bit out of control. The combinations are no longer intuitive and it seems the developer has just decided to add a few new combinations that are really hard to find. The organization system also needs work as there are several categories that were quite similar. I miss the days when almost every combination made something cool; where you were like "Yes! That's so true!". Now it seems the developer got lazy. (Fire + Ice doesn't equal Water? Really?)
The physics in this game are seriously underrated. I mean, when you grab onto the little spinning wheels, not only does it account for torque depending on the size of your grapple, but it also releases you according to your velocity, something many people would be tempted to overlook. Very nicely done.
You know you have good aim when you can get a head shot on an ant! (That, or you've got way too much free time...) Just wish I was that accurate on the Xbox.
Wait, what? Why is it that when I boost it slows down before going back up to top speed? What happened to that whole "an object in motion stays in motion" thing?
Whew. Finally beat it. Now I feel like I can do... anything.
Great game, simple yet fun.
On a side note, do you think it means anything if I got 666 deaths?
For those of you complaining that if you tie Brian, you lose, think about what you are doing in this game. If you clicked "Higher" and tied, then that means you did not accomplish what you were trying to do and lost. Same goes for "Lower". Either way, a tie is a loss. Deal with it.
Meh. It seemed kinda pointless to me, and I'm not a big fan of pointless games. However, I do wish I had pants that were half as fancy as his are... ;)
Grr... This is one of those frusterating games where I know what I have to do, but have one little timing error that kills my plan at the last second, thus forcing me to bang my desk in anger. It is times like these when I wish it was a button-mashing game, for I would hit that button so hard in frustration that it would fall out. Still, a nicely designed game where everything falls into place wonderfully. I think I'll give it a 4/5.
Dang it I wish this thing saved all my old haikus somewhere! I had some good ones...
A very nice game, though a feature to record would be nice. I don't want to have to write them all down, but I would like to be able to look back and laugh at the old ones I did.
