Great game. That was probably the most fun I've had collecting a hard badge. I'm intrigued by the story, and I like that the game actually had a terminal-like feel to it. Sometimes it was hard to think that I was playing a game instead of rooting through old computers. Keep up the great work!
Everyone else planning to make a launch game should play this game and learn from it. Instead of just creating the basic, run of the mill, launch game, this game actually brings in a new mechanic that breathes new life into the launch genre. Not sure how I'm just now finding this, but better late than never.
Great game, 5/5! The puzzles were just the right difficulty since the story is the main part of this game. I do agree with what Priority7 said, the description of how the puzzles worked wasn't that great, but it didn't take long to figure it out. As for the story, it was good as well, but I have one problem with it, which I will tell in the spoilers section.
--SPOILERS!--
Correct me if I'm wrong, but would the visitor remember any of the timelines except the last one he chose? If the TEMPEST sends the consciousness of the user to a different timeline, it doesn't look like the visitor would remember all of it. Then again, I could just be misinterpreting something. Either way, the story was still good.
Great game! I just feel that the tournament gets hard too quickly. I can slaughter every competitor in one tournament but then I'm raped on the first challenge of the next one. Also, when browsing the quests, there seems to be some problems. For one, the buttons are sometimes unresponsive. Two, sometimes when I press the button to view the next quest, it skips over one quest.
The music is great and fits, the art is great as well. Despite the steep difficulty curve and the two bugs I found, I still had fun playing Overall, I give it a 4/5. It's good, but can be improved.
Excellent game. I think I get the meaning, too. No matter how grim things look, or how many things it seems like our out to get you, just keep fighting and improving yourself and you will eventually be happy. Or I could be wrong. Either way, great game with great graphics and sound. 5/5
Another greedy developer. Everyone, just stop playing the games. Don't just refuse to pay, refuse to play. If there's no players, there's no developer. We make the rules.
It was okay, at first. However, once I realized that you HAVE to play on hard and insane to advance, that's what ruined it for me. Tip: If you want to make a hard mode, don't set the player on a timer and increase the difficulty AND subtract time every time the player is damaged... I already hate timers enough as it is.
When I clicked on this game, I have to say that I was expecting the worst. But once I pressed "up" and that catchy music started, I knew I would be hooked. Molkman and MajusArts have exceeded my expectations. The story is based around Caesar on his day off. You follow Caesar's whacky antics as he goes through the steps of getting ready for the upcoming party. When I noticed I was making moral decisions that would have a major effect on the ending, I quickly straightened up. I found being the bad guy about as difficult as refusing a puppy eyed kitten tuna.
I can tell that the creators buckled down on this one to get the best playing experience as possible. The controls were solid and easy to master. They're great for those quick reflex moments. As for bugs or glitches? They're nonexistent. Here's what I give it:
Graphics: 5
Sound: 5
Music: 5
Story: 5
Controls: 5
Overall: 5/5
Pros:
- One of the playable characters is Caesar himself.
Cons:
- I can't think of any more!
Great job guys!
@lordbenisi Calm down, there. It's not like installing Unity Web Player is that big of a deal. Besides, you installed Flash's, or else you wouldn't be here.
As for the game, I have absolutely no control over the gun. If I press the right mouse button, it looks through the scope but I have to press the left mouse button to escape "scope mode." Once I press the left mouse button, the gun just opens fire on the ceiling... Anyone else having this problem, or does anyone know how to fix it?
R should restart and not make you choose 1P or 2P. There should be a menu button to choose how many players. Also, the computer has a MAJOR advantage over you. Not sure what it is, but using the exact same tactics that the computer uses on certain levels absolutely does not work. Plus, you maybe win a match every three rounds.
Great and unique game. I agree with these suggestions: the campaign should be longer, a bigger starting area, I personally liked the longer battles, a small increase in difficulty, I would also like to see more customization for the troops and maybe the ability to build our own squad with the weapons and armor that we choose?
It's a great start and I see a lot of potential. 4/5
It's odd; today I woke up wanting to learn the art of blacksmithing, then I see this. I must say, this is your best game yet. 4/5, since there's always room for improvement, even though I don't see anything right off.
The game is good, but some work on the zombie's AI would be great. I can't count the number of times a survivor is like, 50 pixels from a zombie but the zombie just wanders around until he dies... 3/5
