Issue 1: That is a fried egg, not an omelette. :D
Issue 2: Engineering Notation rounds inconsistently. I have $XXX.X * e, $XX.XX * e, and X.XXX * e on the same list in my store.
Issue 3: Scientific Notation needs to round. I can't post an image here, but it's ugly - same store has the price and quantity overwriting each other.
Firefox: There was still a delay, but it was half a second, not three seconds. After the prestige on Chrome, upgrading is instant which does imply it's a memory thing.
Thanks for posting this bug, we're going to look into it. Out of curiosity, was the lumberyard being affected by a lot of enhancement buildings (burger joints, coffee shops, etc) and/or did it have a lot of boost items equipped on it? Thanks!
So, I'm in the "late game" pre-Prestige. 1.93k population (in two Cubies, 20 and 71) and 99/250 when I started to place a new Sawmill. I push upgrade on the brand new sawmill, no population, and there's a three second pause where the game completely stops. So, obviously, if I wanted to upgrade to level 20, it takes literally a minute. This is brand new to the 8/24 update, on Chrome. I will try Firefox, and then prestige, and see if that makes any difference.
Using Firefox. On the main screen, hit "Load Game." The clocks slow down a little, but "Load" and "New Game" are both available to click. Naturally, clicking "Load" again crashes the game. Need to make sure that the buttons disable as soon as they're clicked.
Thanks for catching this! They're set to hide and do on our local builds, but it appears to hang and let you click again on the WebGL builds. I'll look into it.
I would like to see the Parachuting pigs die to the same things that kill the ground-based pigs. It sometimes feels like the Parachute upgrade is paying to make the game harder. It doesn't have to be "plane through parachute destroys chute", but if they're directly hit by a plane...
When making games that use the arrow keys, please, please, PLEASE keep us FPS/MMO addicts who aren't able to comprehend that you can actually move without using WASD in mind. Won't someone think of the FPS/MMO addicts??!! :)
I won the "Ultimate Rebuilder" achievement by letting the Church of Unity open my gates and have the zombies come in and eat everybody. I love this game so much. (Also, I have many theories regarding how the Gambler's kitten improves your building skills. Many horrible, horrible theories.)
For those complaining about hit chances: look up the "Gambler's Fallacy" on Wikipedia. The expectation is that, if you're at a slot machine, and you keep entering money, it'll eventually "cash out". If it doesn't, it's clearly fixed. But, the problem is that it's not fixed, it's just not hitting the right numbers.
Grab a perfectly normal coin and flip it. Your chances of getting a head is 50%. Now, flip it again. Your chances of getting a head is 50%. Statistically, the odds of getting a head on one of those flips is high... except, the coin doesn't know that. :) Just like the Pen and Paper Roleplaying games this is based on, sometimes you get a string of bad luck. Or, if you're me, "cursed dice". ;)
If the game "freezes" after character creation - just goes to a black screen and nothing else happens - just reinstall flash. It's listed in the recommendations for Arkandian Crusade Chapter 2... on the menu page... which would probably make it a nice addition for this game. :)
Ok, since the argument seems to be OK by the mods; the entire argument is based on a flawed premise. You know how people used to sign with an X if they weren't able to write? That's because the letter X represents Christ. So, anyone who says that XMas is insulting to Christians is incorrect - it's as insulting to Christianity as putting a fish on your car instead of a crucifix.
Running smoothly speedwise, overall. Have to point out that "M" and "N" aren't exactly a standard. It seems VERY easy for the character to get lost under the terrain, especially between screens; definately need to add a check to make sure that the player isn't in a bad location.
I do enjoy the Hedgehog Launch, but agree that after a point it becomes too easy; I did appreciate "going to Mars", but I think the next one should definately have a series of purchasables to keep us going to Pluto...
