"You must earn at least the bronze trophy to earn bonus blop cash". Bronze trophy only gives you 10 extra blops, you can't buy anything with that. Even diamond trophy doesn't give you much. Who are you trying to fool?
Games that don't let you level up through battle experience but by "training" via expendable items are designed to grab you by the b@lls and squeeze every coin out of you. And, RPGwise, it doesn't make any sense.
This shows some promise for RPG games on kongregate, but if you are gonna show us experience and level stats, please let us level up. Considering you can grind on early levels, what would be the harm in leveling up? Also, since we do have equipment, why can we buy and equip better ones?
Checkpoints shouldn't be saved upon death, also. It should restore the game to the last wave you completed alive, because what a drag to start over from the beginning.
I would have loved if the story included a minigames for potion making and fighting parts for the adventurers when they where out looking for the ingredients (Like in one of the first games). Feels like a lot of wasted potential.
Lovely game, though I wish it was longer. I kept waiting for the workshop to offer me better tools/equipment, and to get more quest to unlock new stuff, and then I finished the game and I felt kind of sad. Great game, regardless. Maybe we'll get more stuff in a sequel? Also, it would have been cool to be able to take the baby dragons with you so they could help you fight and be like: I AM THE FATHER OF DRAGONS! BEND THE KNEE!
More items and stuff/content will come in later updates - and having the dragons follow you, fight for you, and grow (eventually being able to fly on them) is also planned!
I would love to have something to do with the souls I collect, other than them being there for score purpose. Also, maybe being able to move with your keyboard. It's hard to take aim and run away from hordes of monsters at the same time.
Man, I loved this game. The only thing I think it is lacking is an undo button, cause sometimes you mess it up and have to start the level all over... ten times. And nobody likes that. Still, loved the game, loved the concept, loved every single blueprint (as I played, I keep wondering what the next one might do, and they did not disappoint). I'm giving it 5/5 and saving it on my favorites.
It starts fun, but it gets repetitive and grindy after a while. Not tempted at all to stay and find out what the final upgrades might do to your attacks. Maybe if it had different kinds of power-ups or weapons you could find during a stage, it would be less repetitive and tedious.
Pre badges the biggest complaint I got was that the game was too easy and a breeze to beat. Now I hear so much about "grind". The only conclusion I can come to is that people are playing just for the badges (which is fine) and getting impatient when they see that they take a little while to unlock. This game can easily be beaten without dying at all. In fact I have beaten it without getting hit. I see you unlocked both badges so at least the game held your attention for a little while! If I ever get the privilege to do more badges I will definitely request easy ones that players can unlock fast
The hint tiles not greying out when I KNOW there are only mines on the row/column they are "suggesting" as "unfinished" is the reason I have trust issues.
If you are gonna downgrade our mages range (which is ridiculous, btw. Just give the ranger a 9 range, or something else that makes him special) could you at least downgrade the range of enemy mages, too? It makes no sense that they more magically adept than us. Thank you.
We're still talking about it, but it's REALLY likely it will be the case! We already posted a Cassandra's pic on ur FB page - follow us to stay updated!
