Been having a recurring problem where I cant buy new packs when trying to use gold. I've been able to buy them with crystals, but every time I try to buy one with gold it keeps saying I dont have enough crystals or gold to buy them. Is this a glitch, or is it on purpose to make you use your crystals on packs?
A little hard to figure out where/how/whether to get the sap on your hand to solve one section. Other than that lots of fun and not too hard to figure out. As usual, a fun entertaining game. Reminds me of the good old days of Sam and Max, Monkey Island, and Grim Fandango.
I was just recently attacked by someone (there is an attack report and everything), but they are not visible on my map or maplist, even if I have it sort by who has attacked me they dont show up. Glitch?
Just finished the European challenge on 1st try and Risky Business is mine. I actually started to panic when my ally suddenly started to attack me near the end because I thought I was going to have to defeat him too in order to finish the game and get the badge. Just had to finish off our common enemy to complete the game, whew.
Unfortunatley it just gets easier the further you go. I made it to 105 fights before getting too bored to continue and I hadnt even been hit since fight 15. A decent game but it needs items to counteract abilities, and tougher opponents the further you go.
I would love a game like this that was turn based, had more choices, let you spend money on ships, upgrading them, bribes, etc. This one just gets too hectic after a while.
Seems like you need to have a 2 to 1 margin when attacking to win which makes the end game very tedious as you build up forces to attack. The AIs rarely attack a territory with more than 20 armies even if they have a large advantage in numbers, and the AIs almost never attack each other after turn 2 or 3. Would be a much better game with better AIs, or maybe a max # of armies per territory (to encourage attacks).
Wow! By endgame my magic user was at least twice as powerful as my first character (ranger). Some of that is due to found items/recipes, but still a huge difference.
How come when I played as a Ranger I found lots of really cool weapons for warriors and mages but no bows, and now that I am playing a magic user I only find good weapons for warriors and bows.
To get through all levels: max shield, wait for your mana and troops to build up until you can shield 3 times in a row, assault and shield over and over. Works on all levels (although you have to attack a bit earlier on the final epic level).
Either a glitch or very boring game. In the early level where you are supposed to turn glucose into fatty acids I produced over 350 and the level still didnt end.
