@Eniri: The point of a game is not the same thing as the goal of a game, and this particular game purposefully has no goals nor win conditions. You are reading it wrong, and that could be my fault.
Disagree with sentasty. Games absolutely do not have to be "fun" to be good, especially when the message being conveyed, as in this game, has nothing at all to do with "fun."
Been playing it some more; Every time I play, the limiting factor is the wind, and I am just bouncing the wind around trying not to let the grass all die. It would be nice if the elements were more balanced, so that different things would be limiting me at different points in time. I spend so much time concentrating on the effects of the wind and the countering effect of the rain that I hardly notice the sun.
gave it a 5/5 because DAAAMN the rating is way lower than it ought to be.
love the game, would love it more if there was a scoreboard integrated (this isn't hard at all, look up stuff about the kong api)(on second thought, maybe it IS hard with unity? not sure) because it'd give me a good deal more direction goal-wise.
@bibo--
I'm super complimented with how much energy you spent trying to figure it out! You don't necessarily have all of the rules down pat, but you're pretty close :D:D
It is meant to be a space for play and formal exploration with no real objective, and therefore isn't really a game I'm afraid. So you'll have problems finding any mission beyond what you've outlined there. Thanks again for your time :)
All sound is Gertrude Stein: the background sound is from "The Making of Americans," like strikeoutsrus said. The little "if napoleon" sound the circles make when they hit the square and pop is from "If I Told Him: A Completed Portrait of Picasso."
Thanks for checking it out :)
