actually, meant to say that i kept my link id case sensitive and tried with passwords and without (when setting my account to have one and to not have one) on two different devices using the android market on tablets.
Hey there, sorry about that! There's a known bug where sometimes the first password you set doesn't save right. Can you try resetting your password from the Account Linking menu and let me know if it works?
Love this game. always a fan of precision platforming and i can tell how much loving care you put into several of the sections. Timing and reflexes are so key. I beat your first version in 20:57 my first time.. now i'm having to put it down for a bit at level 29 with about 29:20 on the clock. You've really outdone yourself and cripes the drops on 29. Your lovelife suxx.
This game may feel like it's a little slow to start, but I really enjoyed the depth of the game. Several waves in I was making choices about what weapons I wanted to use and not just going for the strongest items because I had to decide if the rate of fire / shot count was worth it. The control system is what makes these choices matter. You get no technology for running away with shots coming out of your back. You have to flank and turn and dodge bullets to really let all your weapons handle the load. Harder difficulties really drive this home when you know that dying means losing all that extra data. Frisky is where I think this game shines in that horribly punishing yet exciting "Tower of Greed" style gameplay. Would love to see more. 5/5
I see a lot of pretty negative comments on this game and quite a few are about how luck based the game is, and I dont see it that way. Monsters have shields that correspond with the colors of the kinds of attacks you have. Opponent has 3 red bars? Then use 3 red attack balls to remove the shields. Leveling up spreads the damage out a bit among your other options so that you can force your way through the enemy health but its not really necessary. Also, try going the scoundrel route first since it has a free shuffle if you need it. Also, remember that the consumables from the trophy shop give you 5 uses of each item and dont be afraid to spend trophies if you're another class. Just my 2 cents.
I really liked the concept of the focus slowfield/teleport. It made the maps with the locked gems a really interesting mix of puzzle and twitch gameplay. I wish that there was a little bit more to the impossible campaign, but other than that, i had a blast. I kept thinking it felt like meatboy but this really captures its own niche. The maps look like they were pretty easy to make... are we getting a level editor soon? I'd love to see the player pack :)
This game is like, pretty fun and stuff, but like its hard to see which character is mine.
If only I could put something on his head so I could tell him apart.
Like a hat.
That could be upgraded.
Master Aim wrote a great guide to helping track down those last couple stars you need for the hard badge and I decided to write this comment to expand upon it. If you're missing stars, try getting under par on World 1: 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 12, & 13. For World 2: 3, 9, 11, 12, 17, 18, & 20. Every level is different, but typically, if a wood block is next to a concrete block, you can adjust the camera angle so that it bounces off the wood, hits the conc, then breaks the wood. For other levels, sometimes firing 2 shots rapidly gives more momentum than waiting between shots. Some levels require hitting the spot where 2 woodblocks are connected to save shots. Had a great time playing this, hope this helps some people, and thanks again Master Aim for helping me get the hard badge :).
I'm still amazed this was made in only 2 days for a contest. Well written story, plenty of places to explore and a few secrets littered about. I think you've made a great game. The only part I had difficulty with was the last boss fight because i thought i only needed to bounce the bombs back at the boss, not to shoot it as well >_<
I really enjoyed this game. I loved the time trials and trying to get the briefcase was a welcome addition to the level design. I felt like the controls were tight and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to use the punch attack to get an airdash as it made for some pretty cool runs. I like that you had a speed run element to the levels but I felt like some of the times were a little lenient. I think this is a spiritual brother to super meat boy and would love to see more like this. I think making another achieve where not killing anybody but the scientist gave an award too. Great game. 5/5.
