A couple suggestions (*contains minor spoilers*):
1.) Auto-heal the hero by 5-10% after every completed room. I can clear several levels without healing (since level 5, at 35 now), but after a few levels I need to just run between rooms killing spirits for 4-5 minutes until I'm at full HP. That is not fun game-play.
2.) Make the highest tier of items better. I have yet to find a Teal upgrade to my Red gear.
3.) Increasing the boss difficulty or variation would be great. A 2- or 3-attack pattern isn't terribly interesting and they don't do enough damage to even bother dodging/blocking.
4.) Increase difficulty scaling of levels after 10. The "end-game" is too easy.
Otherwise, solid 5/5 game. Well done!
This game was far too easy to get higher than a 4-star rating. It only took about 20 minutes to complete. Also, instead of getting gradually more difficult or complex there are a few extremely simple levels (19-21) in between the most "challenging" ones. Finally, when you introduce a unique mechanic like the "watering can" on level 18, you should carry that through to at least one more level of higher complexity. That being said, solid 4 stars.
I stopped playing Tyrant once individual fights started taking 1/4 of my energy. Progression-based games like this aren't fun when you can only play for 3 minutes at a time.
Ctrl+click does not discard. Computer opponents often stop taking any actions (I assume this means they have a full hand and can't discard). Multiplayer play is sub-par at best because it suffers from the same issues. 2/5.
I just flew for 2 mintues to reach a destination only to have a giant mothership appear, talk to me briefly, and blow me up to respawn where I started. That's not even counting the various other bugs/glitches. 2/5
This game is a dumbed-down version of notpron. It has numerous typing errors and absolutely useless clues. Several levels are difficult to pass even with direct instructions from someone who passed them already. At least the concept is good. Two Stars.
MUCH too easy. I had $9.50 total after days 1 and 2. After day 3 I had $15,000. Day 4 I won almost without trying. I didn't feel like I had a chance to play the game. 3/5.
After level 10 none of the levels took more than 30 seconds to beat. Needs a serious difficulty increase. Other than that, the upgrade addition is awesome. 4/5.
Thanks for the review!
