@bakkart thanks!
I just found the animal part for Marigold VIII (8) is about herding Pigs. Dunno how many are needed, as I had only tried my luck with 1.
For Marigold VII (7), I found that harvesting Bushes (or Thorns that you can plant) works for one of the riddles. I don't know yet how many are needed.
After spending 2000 woods, I got my 3 spice packs (in fact the first cannibal mask seem to have provided me with a first spice pack as well as with the fountain). I now have 1500 machetes in stock...
Actually, the Wiki tells how to get the spice packs (as it was pointed by previous commenters), but after wasting 1000 woods I got only one mask (and would need 3 more to complete the goal and task). And I have very little use for machetes.
I cannot sell my pigs on the Rhubarb event island...
I also have no recipe for Rhubarb Pickles, and in the 'main' mission which may provide it, I cannot see how to fulfil the "buy spice packs" goal...
@w4m4w @bakkart Their goal with publishing so many events, is to deplete your storage of resources & energy, so that you spend rubies and ultimately real money.
So, the "unusual meerkats" become ill 9 hours after you feed them. Which means that there is 90% chances you find them ill when you wake up even if you fed them before bedtime.
Is there a point in starting the Grilling Festival, for a player who isn't going to finish it? That is, are there interesting intermediate stuff to harvest?
As far as I am concerned, I didn't attempt to run for the event, but simply considered the event main island and bronze island, as places from which to harvest resources (wood, coconuts, stones, ...). Much less stress this way :-)
When I play 'advanced' (1000 coins) snooker, people always log off on me, as soon as they make a mistake or I start having a manifest lead (manifest but not uncatchable)... :-( It wasn't happening before I had to start playing this category.
