Where do I find the autosave files? Are they saved locally on the computer? I updated my browser and all my progress is gone... I never made a manual save, but chose to rely on autosave instad. :-/
When playing fullscreen, I am not able to scroll down on messages that are longer than what the screen size can accommodate. When turning on the scroll helper arrows, I can see the arrows, but nothing happens when I click on them. The message is stuck to its original position. Is there a way to fix this?
Otherwise, great game! 5/5
Oh no, I had hoped we had this one was fixed. I would love you help to try and fix the issue, it would be a huge help if you could PM me with Browser Version and OS! Do you have a wheel on your mouse? Have you tried wheeling while over the dialog (should work wheeling anywhere ). Is there a specific dialog where there is a problem?
Trying to load the game using the current version of Firefox, I get an interesting message: "You need a browser which supports WebGL to run this content. Try installing Firefox."
Sounds like WebGL is disabled -- happens to me occasionally, too... follow these instructions to get it running again: http://superuser.com/questions/836832/how-can-i-enable-webgl-in-my-browser
Brilliant game, I can only agree with McCoyEVP that this is a real masterpiece! I am considering buying the game on Steam. :-)
With so much thought put into small details, it makes an amazing whole.
So far, only 2 small things about the hotkeys bother me, which are hopefully easy to fix:
1. The Esc hotkey for the options menu is not well chosen, since that is also the command to exit full screen mode. I want to play the game in full screen mode, but I also want to use the options menu every now and then, and it's annoying when the game always reverts back to window mode instead of opening the options menu.
2. Would it be possible to configure the hotkeys that open windows (like X or C) to also close the same windows. It is convenient to open them using only one keypress, but it would be convenient and intuitive if one could also close them with the same keys, instead of having to click "X" at the top right.
Maybe it would be possible to make the hotkeys customizable for the users?
in the steam version, all of your concerns are fixed already :) everything except making your own hotkeys. but i will add that eventually. thanks for the feedback, and support! glhf:)
Nice little game, but for the story's sake, some work should be done in the realism department, as most of the things are ridiculously wrong. For example: A rocket does not fly at a speed of 300 mph! ; meteors are not things that can be harvested, but tiny pieces of debry from space that burn up quickly when entering a planet's atmosphere ("shooting stars") ; the mission descriptions make no sense whatsoever (e.g. "the whole crew had its toenails completely snapped", wtf?)
This game is simply amazing, the best I've played in a long while, and one of the best of all time! 5/5, no doubt!
After having played Motherload (the mother of all mining games, in my opinion) I was trying to find another mining game which can compete with it, and this game here truly can - it's even better than Motherload!
One tiny thing that should be added is a keyboard shortcut for opening the miner inventory.
Great game!
One question: I don't understand how the income system works... I have 6 level 1 refineries and 3 level 2 refineries, that should add up to an income of 1080 per turn. However, I only get 360. Are there some sort of hidden unit upkeep (maintenance) costs?
good idea.
i did notice one programming error:
the termination messages for not having a 0 as the final result and for reaching a negative number are interchanged. it was very confusing at first.
what kind of an algorithm did you use to generate the maps?? probably randomly generate the territory shape and then randomly try to place it somewhere, if there's a collision, start over again. the fuller the map is, the longer it takes to find a spot... veeeery inefficient!
The concept of the game is absolutely amazing, top score for the ingenious idea and design. However, the levels themselves are not adequately balanced/polished.
An absolutely amazing game! You can literally spend days playing krispykrem's games (not just this, Alchemical Engineering rocks too)! His games are something that truly challenges the mind =)
the graphics and physics are great, and the optics are really nice overall, but it doesnt really qualify as a game for me, more as a short flash movie where one has to make a few clicks (obvious ones, theres not really a choice). if this could be made into a challenging point-and-click game, it would be a real masterpiece.
Great idea, great game, really challenges one's coordination skills. The big thing missing is a restart level option and the possibility of continuing from the highest current level after screwing up. But then again, maybe that's just the way it was planned, to make players avoid the deadly sin of getting 2 planes too close. ^^ And to all the people who complain about the game being boring: I guess you guys are just not used to thinking, so shut up and keep playing your primitive mindless games. ;-)
An absolutely great game, simple and awesome concept, a very organised and neat interface and gameplay, and I just love the fact how all the levels are built from just 6 parameters and how they always work out perfectly! I'm wondering how it's implemented... My guess is that first, a random circuit is built from the input parameters and then all the tiles are randomly rotated. Or am I completely off? ^^ 5/5 anyway
Here comes my best creation yet, wonderfully synchronised and quite efficient: S-72, C47. "XIII. Elixir of Life":

Here's one crazy and (I believe) unique solution for "XII. Gold"! S-128, but C-41. I managed to coordinate the creation of 2 gold atoms simultaneously - a true mechanical marvel. =)
