Grey has been explained by esitton000. Grinders can also be made vulnerable by meltie acid. Sharps can be tricked to retract spikes by going behind it, and then slashing.
...So the only thing new in this is the quests and the planet thing? There are things that appear to be new, but they seem to be content from the phone games just mashed together.
abysoft, you grab the shield that floats down. Don't get it on the first chance - it won't go away. Simply wait until the squid guy squats down, then quickly go for it and it'll shield you from the blast. Another should immediately come down. Repeat until it dies.
@MrsSunshine
You do know that being game developers, many of the creators of this game would more or less be geeks themselves to a certain extent, right?
@ad3ross
Haha. Internet Explorer? Most popular browser?
I'm dying right now. The only reason anyone uses Internet Explorer is because they either don't care enough to bother to switch or because they're lacking in any technical knowledge.
I was going to give this at least 4/5, or even 5/5. But... not anymore.
Simply put, I'm not going to spend 15 seconds every wave watching a funny-looking cannibal trudge its butt over the map to where my units are positioned. I'm not going to spend 45 minutes of my life every game just to watch slow animations being acted out. The lack of the fast forward button basically ruins the gameplay. So 3/5.
This was pretty fun! Serious! It's a nice break from those ridiculously overused MMORPGs or CTGs floating around here, and it's not as challenging as some of the long games like Robot Wants or Fancy Pants.
@nakka
If you die, you can load from autosave. None of your things will be gone. If you retreat, instead of choosing 'abandon mission' choose 'load'. You don't get 'screwed'.
