In the Sellout Shop, if a special is bought/maxed out, why not take the "Buy for ..." button and grey out/remove/or replace with "bought". The "bought" text above the button doesn't stand out very well.
Also, the magic/sec tooltip could use commas in the number.
What a Sisyphean task the secret code is. Keep on trying folks. You'll never know if that pokemon has already been claimed or in the number might be a little higher.
This game is good now, but could be great. I'll skip the usual criticisms I've seen like lack of money and upgrades.
1. The keyboard mapping is a little wonky. The right hand keys should (while going down) come diagonally inward towards the middle of the keyboard. Instead of UJM in the fourth column, UHB would make more sense. This makes it easier to mirror what the left hand is doing.
2. I know missing prices have been mentioned, but there are several weapon pictures that are also missing. Almost every character has one missing.
3. Also related to weapons, why have a black box showing instead of the current weapon? Same for the mount I guess, but the mount doesn't change appearance. Maybe the whole layout needs changed.
4. How about bettering a weapon before moving on to the next one? You could have some intermediate steps where each step would light up a section of the arrow pointing from the black box to the next weapon.
It appears that each ship (besides the scout) has the same price growth rate. If you changed this, it might help to fix the "dreadnought is the only worthwhile ship" problem.
Sometimes I will start a battle, leave, come back and have won the battle. Other times I will come back and the battle meter will still be the same. What gives?
I'm at about the same spot as Vendanna (near 200 nonillion souls). Instead of waiting to double my souls, I've been opting for 10-15% increases. Both of our choices could be seen as arbitrary, but at this rate of soul growth it's a better option to take smaller increases of souls to buff your power. It's similar to looking at compounded interest, but there's a lower limit given by the amount of time it takes to get back to your ~max Pps. If you wait too long to reset you lose out on the compounded effect, but if you reset too often you waste time getting back to that ~max Pps. Given this, there should be a sweet spot on when to reset. 10-15% seems to be doing well for me, but there may be an even better answer.
I'm curious why Ghoul (.54s) has a shorter tick speed than Satyr (.61s) when all speed buffs are applied. This doesn't seem to match the trend set for the rest of the spawns that they get slower as you go down.
Not sure why folks keep complaining about plateaus. I'm at 800 sextillion souls and have been consistently doubling that once or twice a day (sometimes more).
A couple tips:
1. Work towards a multiple of 100 of a certain type so you get the achievement bonus. Buy even 1 or 10 at a time, but just work towards that 100.
2. The bonuses from achievements are worth more than getting the cheapest spawn.
3. A good rule of thumb is to reset if you would double the amount of souls you would have. It will take a lot less time to get to where you were before and you will be making twice as much.
4. Stick it out and wait to get another 100 titans. The bonus applied to all spawns is well worth it.
5. Go do something and come back later.
6. Enjoy the little things.
There seems to be an issue where the speed reduction upgrades don't take affect on the timer when you buy your first big spawns like the Titan or Behemoth. For instance you may have bought some speed reduction upgrades, but when you buy your first Titan the time to collection is larger than the tick speed (e.g. you will get your reward in 2 hours even though tick speed gets adjusted to 30 minutes).
To avoid this problem, do not buy any Titan/All specific upgrades until you have purchased at least one Titan.
I seem to be respawning in the area of the last door I went through, but in the spot of the last tv I passed. This leads to my character being stuck in a wall or just not there.
I ask past-4G this question every day.
