I agree, better than ImmorTall, that just got on my nerves. Would be nice if there was a bit more... depth to it. No pun intended. Maybe a bit more to do. But yea as small simple games go that was quite nice.
I like this BUT - I've hit a bug in my game. Expected fame is reading as undefined and so is required classes. This is after closing FF and reloading my game...
I absolutely love this game. PLEASE make more. A multiplayer version would also seriously rock. One suggestion - would it be possible to get a key to cycle enemy targets? And maybe an open fire button... or something of the like.
Ok rather than the wimps whining about it being too hard an actual bug this time...
Graphical glitch, bunker being displayed at the opposite side of screen to where it should be. Bunker still highlights (goes opaque) when cursor goes over its ORIGINAL position... Was a bunker over a trench with two MG's in and happened (I THINK) when I moused over it...
"I think you've earned a nap little buddy!". A nap? A NAP!? You do all that for the bugger and he lets you have a NAP!? I should bite his bloody face off!!!!
Bounding needs to be more accurate really. Blowing up when NEARLY touching asteroids is crappy and not picking up fuel part of your ship clearly goes through is also crappy. otherwise its mildly entertaining.
Good game BUT: -
1. Enemies can spawn inside you for an instakill which just sucks.
2. Managed to bug it out to the pause screen wouldn't go away while the game was playing - cured by exiting then continuing.
3. Whatever thread controls the clock needs to be given higher priority as in some of the timed missions I was fighting for a good minutes - not just lagging either, at least 1:30 of it was real time as far as the enemies were concerned.
Got it now however and realise that my last comment its actually supposed to work like that right? Because the mass of the green isn't enough to hold the blue one in place? Anyway good game if a tad easy. Kept me entertained for a while
Found a physics anomaly. Level 33. Got the green box still sat on a blue box ont he main platform, however the blue and green boxes are slowly inching their way along somehow.
As has already been said, fun little game if a tad too easy. Be interesting maybe if antibodies were included, little cells that float around and kill your spores if their outside a cell and they touch them? Just an idea.
Either I'm being dumb and not seeing it or this game REALLY needs a map. Pretty good little game however. Could do with a few more layers of complexity ESPECIALLY if you intend to keep it single player. But overall not too bad.
Only addition I can think is an ease of use issue - that is people with sound will find this game easier than people without because of the horn call on the reinforcement waves when taking down enemy castles. Maybe a visual prompt? As for general review haven't enjoyed this as much as the previous ones. Less to do makes for a bit of a dull game. The tactics are not involved either - build force, lure hero using offense spell, splat him, lure the build up of forces that's stayed by their castle, splat them, build forces, charge in, splat splat splat, use skills to bash down the reinforcement waves long enough to kill castle... all in all too easy though still a bit entertaining...
I'm rather enjoying this. Shame I can't concentrate on it properly being at work an all. No errors. So long as you go through character creation in a logical manner it all makes sense (unlike me who hops around changing random bits first then wonders where the different colouration changing things are). The controls are surprisingly smooth - I don't know why but I was expecting them to be.... well less smooth simply. Might comment more later if i find anything but so far from the little I've seen this does look like an awesome flash game.
Bit too limited. More weapons would be good for a start, more varied enemies earlier. The levels also just felt a bit bland. More destructible terrain like Bomberman would make this a bit more interesting. Also rather than just having to mass kill enemies by one shotting them better if there were harder enemies which could one shot YOU that were a bit more intelligent. Just my thoughts from what I saw. Has potential.
