I played this game for a while and enjoyed it. But I quit when I realized the cake walls turn it into a time-wasting grindfest. It doesn't matter how fast you are going, the cake walls will stop you dead in your tracks and force you to repeat the level over and over. Their only purpose is to slow down the progression and give you incentive to watch ads in the hopes of getting Chili Bombs. It's very exploitative and the game is not worth it.
Game is okay, but I really don't see the strategy in it. I feel like I'm just playing whatever card I happen to be able to afford at the time without any real decision-making involved.
I have to agree with the other reviews on here. This game is a pointless grindfest that doesn't live up to the last game. It's like everything that made the previous games fun, like customizing your character, has been surgically removed and replaced with aggravating bullshit and grinding. The inventory system and menus are a tremendous pain in the ass. And I'm I the only one that never finds the blueprint weapons in store? The game claims they should be there, but all I ever see is the starter weapons.
This is pretty boring. There is no incentive at all to maneuver for a better position. It ends with someone either camping or two people just standing face to face shooting until someone dies.
