I think you should make the ruby rewards refresh each prestige so you keep getting them, But add a 2nd level of ruby enhancement, first one as you have now is x5 but enhance it again and it is another x5 (so x25 total), you could even do a 3rd x56 (x125 total). Each ruby level is 10 times the cost of the first. So 10 rubies for the first enhancement but 100 for the 2nd, 1000 for the 3rd. This encourages players to keep playing to get more, eliminates pay to win, BUT also encourages players who don't want to grind so much to pay for kreds to get more rubies. (probably should increase the rubies per kred to 5 or 10 times the amount you have now though to encourage donations)
How about with each level upgrade your starting money is also increased a little, so that eventually you can skip wood and go straight to the raw leather and eventually straight to an ore on a reset.

Alright, great game, but I beat it in just under 4 hours with over 10 quattuordecillion on the PPI with 59.1%
I loved the ramp the way it was but perhaps a 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th phase and so on so that its playable for weeks and not hours?
Graphics are great, but there needs to be an objective, obviously fighting is a lot more code, but perhaps you could stick to the exploration way and make more interactive things giving the game a "Myst" kind of focus, with mystery and things to do.
I will not apologize before hand and I must say sir, that people like you should be kept far from any online site, wasting the time and effort of good Kongregate members is simply irresponsible, I mean this with the greatest Offense.
Encountering a problem were at the begining of the game I hit population 6 but I don't actually increase, my food consumption goes from 5 to 6 but I don't gain a 6th person to distribute once I reach 7 its still doing the same thing, only 5 people to distribute but consumption is 7 BUT When I reach 7.1 it finally adds the 6th person, but I am forever 1 person behind on distribution
After spending nearly an hour playing this game, (Which is an easy game if you simply know what to research and what to buy for your ship) The browser crashes and lo and behold upon rehold! NO CONTINUE, It only saves it while your in the game, if you quit the browser you cannot come back and play again. I rated it 5 stars cause of the play and fun it inspired once I worked out the strategy but since it won't save there is absolutely no replay value at all.
The limited gold level is horrible, needs rebalanced. I even tried it by having 6 captains and 2 monks/priests, and got my trash kicked, didn't even have a chance. The fact that the level can only be beaten under one set of conditions is horrible. Rebalance that one. But so far no bugs up to this point. so that is good.
Bugs Bugs Bugs, The sound kept looping over, after building my first 3 men it glitched and woulnt let me build anymore, when I got attacked my whole group would receive damage even though there was only 1 attacker. Also the enemy health wouldn't go down at a certain point, so I couldn't beat level 1.
I also couldn't upgrade/build anything besides the barracks, blacksmith, tower (which never actually built when it was done) windmill. So I couldn't upgrade but maybe this is something to do with level 1
