Hey, I have a big problem. I've been playing for about a week, and when I came to the site yesterday, I wasn't logged in. So I logged in, and the screen still said "Start Playing," so I clicked it, and it went into character creation, and now I can't get out of it. I don't want to have lost my character, but I can't back out of character creation to resume my normal game. Could you please put in a cancel button or something?
The first time I got the drill after getting caught in the alien barrier, it just got stuck in a loop, cycling through all the barrier sprites over and over.
I appreciate the stress-color function, but not being able to see the whole map or navigate it without using the slow mouse scroll is frustrating, especially in the later levels. You have a good physics game here, though. :)
There are a few little glitches - any time that an animation plays, you can still move. Because you resolve your inventory issues after the animation, you can skip a good deal of necessary steps by being in a hurry. If you leave the abandoned house while the potion is being drawn, you lose. If you put an ingredient in, but leave before it registers being added to the pot, you lose the ingredient, and the pot does not recognize it, and you lose. Please either stop people from doing anything while the animations play, or (preferably,) register the effect of your actions before you play the animation, so those who want to click through quickly after playing through it partially don't trip themselves up.
It would be really nice if you could add a "Unafflicted monster" priority for towers/traps. I'd really like my slow/poison to affect as wide a spread as possible. Random gets me closer, but targetting healthy monsters would be great.
Uhm. It looks like the time bonus is capped at 119 seconds, no matter how fast you win. That seems a little arbitrary. Also, would be nice to have the option to purchase individual cards at a premium - I'd happily pay 1000 for another Portal Growth rather than buy 18 booster packs hoping for it.
The thing I learned from this game is that leaning on an elevator door will send you plummeting to the bottom of the elevator shaft, where the pressure of the elevator car falling on you as it lowers will shoot you through the walls and out the door. But it's cool as long as you can get a sip of beer.
