The game itself isn't bad, parts of it are just ridiculous though. A literal golden necklace with a PRECIOUS GEM STONE in it for Mead? Seriously? Or how about the literal fecal matter (fertilizer, and let's not lie about what it actually is,) for a literal Golden Egg? Not only ridiculous, but downright stupid considering this game has a functioning economy. Those two essentially robbed her and should be ashamed of themselves. I did get a kick out of the whole "Honey Beer" thing though, I mean think about it..You can bribe the guards to get into the palace? How hasn't the king been assassinated yet?
Update: Through chicanery and parlor tricks, I used the flying freaks to push Nosfera off the wall and into the hallway by letting them run into him/her with their shield up. Over all, it's not a bad game and I could see this being pretty popular if you fixed the wall issue and the problem with getting on the platforms over the long spike hallways. But yeah, I do agree with everyone else. You should just get rid of Legon, he's useless by comparison to Malgius.
Man, it must be so disappointing to live in a time before shelves. I mean, it's either they haven't been invented yet, or I'm so stupid I don't have the presence of mind to buy a damn shelf for holding PREMADE potions. Y'know, just a thought.
Can't say I disagree that much with 9600GTMAN, honestly. You're required to get every achievement? Even the one that has you dodging everything for two minutes straight? Even when there's times where you can't dodge it all? Yeah, not impressed. Mind you, there is a lot of skill involved and you can dodge nearly everything. But the fact that the dev was lazy enough to just leave it all up to RNG disgusts me.
Made sure my e-mail was verified, still can't report the missing badge. Way to go LameSlop, you bought Kong out and are running it into the ground too. Kongrats.
My advice would be to allow people to click to speed up the timers, that way they can actively participate if they want. Otherwise they're spending TEN MINUTES (painfully excessive for the ONLY thing you can do in the beginning other than break blocks,) waiting for the Farms to get set up.
I have a problem with my stickman's hit box. I watched bullets go sailing over his head that still hit him. It seems to be considering the HP/XP and level banner above his head as part of him and still counting those shots as hits. Needless to say, that should probably be fixed.
It's a nice concept, but as was already said, the randomness makes it essentially unmanageable. You upgraded this and downgraded this, oh look! The one you upgraded is now the cost and the one you downgraded is now your gains, you're screwed...yay...
msouron is correct, the toaster upgrades don't reset too which leaves people without upgrades for their toasters when they reset. This can't be intentional, that would make no sense, so this must be a bug that needs to be fixed.
Just tested it, you actually get more woodcarving experience from making arrow shafts than the carvings anyway..So, I'mma go make a few thousand of those now.
So, I'm not too far in but I'm working on Poplar now. I've noticed the carvings are only worth 8 gold, but the arrow shafts are worth 1 each and you make 10 off a single log. Maybe an over-sight on the Dev's part?
Let's see..It seems to take about 5 maybe more days to cook Vegetable Soup. What're they using to cook it, Bic lighters? The time for all this stuff is absolutely ludicrous, not to mention the idiotic amounts of things used to make other things. FIVE whole logs to make ONE wooden plank? Let me know when you finally get your time frames and cost requirements sorted out. Until then, two stars. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'm with ghettoleelewis on this, what you tell us and what's actually happening with the upgrades are literally two different things. So, let's look at Blue Prints as an example. Base (BASE mind you,) drop rate of 40%. I put fifty levels into BP Drop Chance, it says "Current Bonus: 250%" Sweet, simple logical deduction tells me my base drop rate has increased to 100%. 40% increased by 250% = equals 100%. (2.5 times 40 = 100. Simple maths.) But apparently it's only 2.5%? Why don't you just tell us WHAT these upgrades actually do, rather than feed us a complete lie?
OH! And upon reading canada808's comment, I'm reminded of something else odd. If you jump on the moving platforms it makes them drop down and slip off to the left just the tiniest amount. Not sure why, it's super weird.
Better than the first, but still only a 4/5 for me. Why? Because you neglected to think "What happens if the player gets JUST the right timing and blows up the platforms in the last level?" Well, what happens is you wind up having to start the level ALL OVER again because respawning doesn't fix the platforms. I was unfortunate enough to have it blow up the beginning and ending sections of a jump and it became impossible to finish the last level without restarting. Other than that, a fair bit of swearing because of timing puzzles (normally not an issue but some of them seemed to get wonky if you didn't get them right the first time,) but enjoyable nonetheless.
Okay, so to summarize and clarify for ich666: Blue for purchasing some, green for purchasing and getting the next upgrade. It's not a bad idea, I can see that being very helpful. One other thing I feel should be addressed.."Elixir Of Instant Wealth". Useless. Completely. I have Tomatoes I can plant that give me 4.08aa each harvest, seeing the problem here? It either needs to scale, or it needs to be replaced but ONE of those things needs to happen. Other than that? This is a pretty decent idle game and I really enjoy the "Hangout" sections where you get to talk and interact with people.
To call this game "mediocre" would be fairly accurate. It has numerous flaws, the biggest one being that there's no obvious way out of "free swim" other than to reload the entire page. That, combined with what seems like no actual story and no motivation to even play makes this a very sub-par game.
This is now fixed.
