Stopped playing after a dozen levels or so – the solutions were always immediately obvious so it doesn't stimulate the brain, and the art side is minimalistic and unoriginal so it doesn't stimulate the senses. It's pretty obvious it was done in a rush. Points for the holes in the walls though.
Great game so far! Silly question, but can anyone point me to the folder where the EBF4*** save files are? (It wasn't the macromedia folder apparently, and I'm playing on a machine where search doesn't work.)
Love the idea of creating music from the gameplay mechanics, and it sounds beautiful all the way through. Could definitely use a sequel with more advanced gameplay mechanics and UI!
Nice atmosphere, a fresh and fluid way to solve puzzles, but the most unfulfilling ending I've seen in a game in a long time. It's worse than the single textscreen ending, it's that AND and ad.
One of the funniest games I've played in a while, laughed out loud a few times. Thanks! Also the game response is pretty sweet, clicking everything feels pretty good.
Not my favourite genre, so I didn't play it through and thus can't comment much on the game, but I did want to leave a comment just to say that the music and atmosphere in general is lovely!
Cool graphics and fun gameplay. But already during the first 4 levels, there was twice an ingame animation where the camera flew to show something, and in the meantime I couldn't move and the monsters killed me. I was like, whatever. And then I fell into a hole (the trap with 3 spiders in lev 4) where I couldn't jump out of so I was stuck. Then I was like meh and wanted to look for another game instead. Sorry.
Wonderful story, atmosphere and playability. Great game!
Could still be slightly improved by making the upgrades less of a hassle (eg. if something is required, make it upgradeable from the same screen rather than having to click back and forth between screens). Also, upgrading everything to lev 5 was somewhat tedious toward the end; I'm not sure if that was even required (could I just have clicked the final planet earlier? dunno), but that's the only objective I had on my screen - so if it wasn't mandatory, maybe make it more obvious. Anyway, this is all nitpicking on an overall awesome 5/5 game.
