Awesome game, great concept! Takes me back around 25 years to the days when you had to re-write your config.sys file every time you installed a new bit of software. Managed to beat it, but only by using Google. Six times! Five out of five, looking foward to a sequel.
Interesting game. Certainly a great attempt for a school project. Think I've found a bug, though; I've managed to take out a few of the enemy ships, now, but I never seem to get any money. All the same; nice work. 3/5.
Ok... I'm 38-years-old; I'm sitting in my brightly-lit office - passing a quiet lunch break - with around 750 other people in the building; I'm about 30 seconds into the game; and now I'm too scared to go through that door again in case something eats me. Great work, Scriptwelder! 5 out of 5. And Imma take these damn headphones off, now.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Quirky, with interesting puzzles. Could've done with being a bit longer; 5 out of 5 for what you've done, though. Nice work!
Good game, plenty of fun. I think the upgrade our feathered friend really needs is called "Lose Some Weight, You Fat B****rd", but I couldn't find it on the upgades screen. 5/5
Absolutely brilliant! Love games by this developer; partly for the quirky, original style, partly because they're extremely hard but I can usually complete them without a walkthrough. 5/5 from me. :-)
Great game, fantastic addition to the series. Could really use a way of turning off the captured creature that starts every mission with you (once you have the "Capture Arrows"). Once you've captured a troll, it makes the Train Guards missions incredibly frustrating, 'cos the great brute wipes out most things before the guards get anywhere near them. Thoroughly enjoyed the game otherwise, though. Top marks! :-)
Nice work. A little too simple to play for long, but an interesting concept. For updates: consider adding power-ups that would allow you to eat or shoot the enemies for short periods of time, and possibly other enemies that move in fixed patterns rather than just homing in on your characters. Good luck with the college project - hope you get a good mark, as you deserve. :-)
Thank you very much! I intend to add different obstacles, for now the only "enemy" that moves in a fixed pattern is the corruption that gets you stuck in the direction you were going - while slowed. But yes, there are plans for much more enemies working different patterns, boss fights, a power-up where you distort your enemies so they're either killed or you can just walk through 'em and some other. But thanks a lot for your suggestions and your feedback, it is very much welcome. Feel free to give more at any time.
Haha, I love this game; unfortunately, I'm neither intelligent nor co-ordinated enough to complete it. I'm going to leave it going anyway, though, 'cos the background music is beautiful. :o)
Good game, but could really have done with a way of inverting the mouse-look. So far, I've died more times due to getting confused about the control system than anything else.
BADLY needs a way to skip the intro. After 5 minutes I'm bored now, and starting to wonder whether there's actually gonna be a game at the end of all this...
Amazing artwork, great atmosphere... not much in the way of actual gameplay, though. Plays more like a graphic novel than a point-'n-click puzzle game. 3/5, only 'cos I would've like to have had more to actually do in the game - the concept and story are great.
Damn! Was really looking forward to playing this, having throughly enjoyed episodes 1 & 2. But, like many other people, the mouse lag issue makes it completely un-playable - I mean literally. On the second screen, the mouse gets slower and slower until it freezes completely. It's probably to do with the amount of visual effects in the game - the way the picture flickers slightly as if you were viewing it on a grainy old TV - I have occasional problems with slowdown on flash games which are usually fixed by turning down the graphics quality settings. There's no option to do that in this game though. Heartfelt plea to any devs who might be reading - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE spare a thought for those of us not playing on the latest model government-grade super-computers, and give us a way of either turning down the graphics quality, or else disabling any fancy (but superfluous) graphic effects in the game.
Absolutely fantastic. I'm only rating this as a 5/5 because the scale doesn't go all the way up to 10. Just goes to prove, you don't need fancy graphics and top-notch special effects to make a truly spectacular game; just decent music and a well-developed sense of the macabre. Oh, and bunnies, obviously.
Hmm... might be a good game. Might not. No idea; can't work out exactly what I'm supposed to be doing. Some proper instructions wouldn't go amiss; just saying.
You do get money, but they're only visible through the shop menu, which you can summon by pressing M.
