Survival mode tips: Spam locusts. If your mana recharge rate is high enough, it should give you back enough mana that you actually GAIN mana as you spam. Keep an angel of death on the top floor to catch any stragglers. When the sun god shows up, spam sandworm until he's dead, then let your mana recharge before re-starting the locust routine.
