I really liked the tuning of the difficulty on this game. It wasn't frustrating or too easy and every time I lost I understood why and what I needed to adjust. I know some have comented saying that the playershould have some sort of power progression but I prefer the game the way it is. It's about strategy, not grinding.
If you just ignore the damage cards and collect as much inspiration casrds as you can (primarily Muses and Pies) you'll eventually have an infinite combo. I finished the game on 5074, since I lost interest after 5K.
Awesome game. There where a few things that bothered me (lack of jump height control, the sticky walls, randomly moving enemies) but other than that it's pretty much flawless.
These bats are absolutly insane. The hitboxes on the attack from both daggers and swords are slow, spawns late and doesn't stay out for very long. On top of that, bats take more than one hit and can get multiple hits back, dealing more than half my life in damage. This is really, really stupid.
There is so much stuff wrong with this game. The game is telling me to stay at a safe distance but even if I aim dead on I only hit about 1 in 3 times because the slow projectile speed and enemies random movement. My ship is way to slow to dodge the explosions and when I try to retreat I get pushed around by invisible walls. Then I lose track of distances because there aren't any points of references whe enemies are shootigna t me from outside my radar distance. And when I die I ometimes go back to the base and sometimes I don't. I know I picked the highest difficulty, but this is just really really stupid.
There is sooo much wrong with this game. A few things, especially the ending, were pretty cool, but the snail on a treadmill running speed just ruined the game for me. 2/5.
Cool concept. Pretty well executed. I didn't get further than 45 because I'm a slow reader (which really sucks). The clues about the "incident" motivated me to keep trying, but based on the comments I'm assuming it's pretty much repeating questions from that point forward. Really wish there was some for of closure I could reach, but it was still a fun game. 4/5.
It took me so many tries to beat it on day 4, but after figuring out some strategies I just managed to beat it on day 3 without many more tries. I'm not even going to try doing it in 1 or 2 days because the ship you start out with is really boring to use on the later bosses. Great game anyway. Thanks for making it. Now that I'm done with it I wish there was a sequal.
It took quite some time before things got intresting, and when they did the game was almost over. =( I really liked the plague thing though. You can rush it to wipe out one specific target before they everyone grows to large for it to matter. You can also use it to get enemies to attack eachother because they try to get their armies away form the plague. It's a really cool mechanic ones you start finding all the ways you can use it.
I didn't like this game very much. Your actions are so restricted that there are very few options to consider which makes the puzzles really easy. Still, I enjoyed stuff like beating the last level in 14/16 steps.
This game slows down when I'm multi-tasking, which really should not happen in this type of game. Can't you just use delta time to calculate multiple attacks simultaniously if the game slows down?
Anyways. Right now I make more progress by not playing the game since the "offline progress" at 100% isn't too expensive and I don't have to deal with potential lag. I guess I'm fine with that but I don't think it makes a lot of sense.
I feel like an "idle" tag might be apropriate. Maybe it's just not my kind of game, but when I get highscore while reading the comments it doesn't feel like I'm playing a game.
I'm stuck on level 4. From what I can tell, I need to get AC and use sprayers on the emitters, but there's no ore, so how do I get the AC? There really is some basic stuff missing in the tutorial.
I don't really get how you're suposed to deal with the shield guys. I mean, I kill them eventually, and it's not that it's too hard, but when I'm doing 1 damage per hit I feel like there's something wrong.
I will fix that problem later.
