Beginners: start with hunter and casual mode to gather medals. Once you'll have enough medals hardcore shouldn't be a problem with any character (it's an endurance badge).
1st days: chickens
2nd and 3rd recruit around days 7 and 15 (Noble, Sheriff and Ranger for ex.). Try to equip 2 gravity guns.
To survive at high levels upgrade sandbags, equip leech mods and upgrade villa. Around day 30-40 computer should be able to play alone (remove hero mode from your char. in the castle). Good luck !
No pause cos u could take time to have a look to a word list.
Hints: keep only in the boiler these letters : as a,e,i,o,u,c,t,n,s (including jade and brass). Then grab a -ation ending word list and type it all. If you write enough words, you can type them again and again without penalty.
For those who have english as a foreign language : grab a book in english or an article on the net, make a word list... and avoid using to much hard letters (z, y, x...). Nice game, would be much more easier in french eh eh ;)
No save makes it a difficult yes, but with saves that might become too easy...
Hints: gather as much bonuses as possible in the first part of the game, use transforms bonuses in mid-game and keep big bonuses for the last part (such as joker bonuses. You can get a joker by creating a 4x4 colors ring for example). Good Luck.
