Fun game at its core, but the programming and puzzle generation are pretty bad sometimes. It'll spawn impossible to complete cells sometimes (i.e. a 75x cell in a 5x5 puzzle) I'm not the only one having this issue, either. Still hasn't been fixed, so I doubt it ever will be.
Cookies were deleted when I only had two levels left to complete for the Hard badge. Love this game so much that I'm not even mad that I have to replay it all again.
Not needing to click awkwardly around to assign skills to the hotbar would be a welcome fix. Why not simply allow us click on a skill, then click where it should go? Having to click the item/spell, select the number slot, then select the item/spell again is an unnecessary step. Also, I agree with the other comments about the annoyance of having to reassign everything after coming back. Also, there is no way to get info on a potion (so far as I can tell) from hovering or long-clicking on it from the skillbar. That would be a nice update. Other than that nitpicking, I'm adoring this game so far! Lots of fun, 4.5 star imo.
"Error launching Unity Player" -_-; I hate it when this happens on a game of the day. All of my browsers are producing this same error, and installing/uninstalling doesn't work. *sigh* So much for this badge.
I just wanted to thank you for disallowing heroes on the challenge levels. It prevents paying players from being more likely to win than f2p players, which is becoming more and more uncommon in games. :)
Still having a serious issue with lag, even though it has been reported for three years now. I would love to finish this series, but having it eat up upwards of over 50% of my CPU is making it impossible to play. Just in case these issues are still being listened to/worked on, I am playing on Firefox and running Win XP.
Personally, I simply love how complicated this game is, as well as how much you have to learn along the way. The few youtube tutorials you give are perfect for teaching the basics, and the chat/forums are great at doing the rest if you need it. Don't let people get you discouraged when they rag on it for needing more transparent, hand-holding explanations or buttons. This game, for what it is, is perfect in my opinion (little bugs aside, as all work-in-progress games have those).
Also, please give us the option to turn off pointless animations and graphical annoyances. There is no reason for the shadow to be so freaking intensive or for it to shift and move like it does. We understand that you want to make an attractive game to show off what you can do, but give those of us you *aren't* trying to impress a way to make all the flashy whatnot at least stationary. It is kind-of depressing to have a computer that can run newer PC games but lags out on a free flash game.
I do not understand the tower's auto-attack issue (not targeting the next enemy). Did you guys seriously change their attack algorithm that much from the first game to the second? It was perfect there, so why bother changing it up again in this one?
I know it has probably been said before, but I *really* hope the next game either has fewer completely unnecessary, flashy graphics, or it has the option to turn them off instead of just making them more grainy. I'd freaking *love* to open a chest or cast any spell or pick up a simple crafting item without my computer lagging like crazy. League of Legends doesn't muck with my computer like this game does. I understand you want to show off your abilities to make a flashy (no pun intended) game, but you're kinda going overboard with it.
I really wish this game did not have so many hidden links to a different website. Having an icon or something off to the side is one thing, but trying to sneak in extra hits for your site with unmarked links and side characters is underhanded and wrong. Seriously, don't do that.
$75 for a freaking pet!? Is that a typo or are you guys actually more delusional than EA? You can make money on FTP games without being absurd about it.
I agree with many people on the graphics. With as quickly as you end up moving and as much as is going on onscreen this game needs a low-graphics option for those of us who use slower/older/campus computers.
I've not encountered an enemy as full of crap as one of the random encounters here. Stupid pink monster with ridiculously high Agility that dodges a good 95% of my attacks, has 2244 HP and heals 1300 HP every three turns. That wouldn't piss me off so much if there was actually a way to abandon a fight or leave or freaking ANYTHING other than waiting for its weak self to slowly kill my monster. Shit like that makes you never want to look at a game again.
"only the ones on which you are not currently." Stupid redundant sentence.
Incidentally, as far as I can tell it happens with every one of those fossils.
In the lava cave located at column 7 row 7 (the one with the lava flowing through the middle and the dragon toward the top of the screen) there is a dino fossil you can grab in the upper right section of the map. However, when you click on it to take it, the "!" sticks around, allowing you to pick it up and put it back down indefinitely.
Also, when reading the map you cannot find out the name of what screen of the map you are currently on, only the ones on which you are not currently on.
thanx man :) also, please report bugs via the BUGTRACKER link on the site. enhancement ideas are also welcome.
