@shiratzu, the way I went was just rushing to generate enough of the items to force my way through the merchant guild on two items and then just put a pin in letting them generate enough to master while working on the other resources.
Well I messed up. I accidentally learned 5 of the same resource recipes after beating the monkey so it's going to be a while to cut through the first wave of recipes...
So the magic clan is the easiest way, best heals, has a revive, and if you combo puppets and ghosts with the AC upgrade in the final area you absolutely wreck.
Why would you ever use fireball? It won't hit with sweep until the 20th strike and if you're fighting a swarm for 20 strikes then odds are you're going down particularly hitting for half damage
After grabbing the machine gun and pills I really never looked back Melee dies way too easily, also a nit picky issue where when you leave repair guy doesn't come with you. Also wish that you'd keep the same pool of people if you die on a survivor day (survivor choice didn't kill me, stupidity did)
And last one because I'm rage quitting, you need a way to mitigate the disaster that is being cornered with three pawns but no enemies on the diagonal. One hand of three pawns has been a death sentence more than once because you can't take damage so you need to back up quite a bit.
Hey, sorry it made you ragequit but mitigating that disaster is on you! ;) If there are 3+ pawns left in the deck, you can and should play around the possibility of drawing them all. Predict how enemies will move and position so that you won't get locked even in the worst case. Also remember that you're guaranteed to get one pawn promoted to a queen if you end your turn in the topmost row.
OK, managed to get through it. To those who say don't bother with splash damage when something moves in the direction of the damage, run those cards into the middle of an area and watch it go boom (and then run out because blight)
Sorry about that, I believe this sometimes happens when using a touchpad but I haven't been able to nail down the exact cause. Shouldn't ever happen with a mouse, at least from what I know so far, please tell me if you were using one. I'm working on it!
...you thought people wouldn't die their first run? I ran out of potions and had to die a few times to power through a section in the middle of the dungeon.
Could you not freeze the balls behind the buttons to disable boss features? Having block beard/count blockula trapping balls there forever is a little annoying.
