So "The Company of Myself" is really just him trying to cope with his "medication" ???
Kathryn is not really dead, but he simply forgot about her? Somewhere she is probably out there looking for him, but he thinks she is dead so both are left to themselves...
At least both are content in the end, but still, they could have been so much more.
This game is really interesting and could be great, but it suffers from several unneeded flaws: too much energy is used up for any one action; your salary (even at start) is ridiculously low; and items to buy are ridiculously overpriced. Difficulty is not too bad, I just have trouble controlling the ball some times, but that is just me. Keep working on this and I am sure it will be much better.
Wolves are over-powered. They do twice as much damage as other enemies and attack more often. A wolf should not be doing more damage than a Golem, it should just be faster.
A strong enemy should never attack quickly unless it is a boss-type and a fast attacker should never do more damage than other enemies, once again, unless it is a boss-type.
The dragons are near-impossible to beat without substantial upgrades or a Divine Edge (which seemingly appears once every 12 days). I understand that it is a dragon, but make it fair, especially since they sometimes show up within the first few days.
there are several good points about this game, however there are many bad points as well.
the good: the random mayhem is fantastic, music, range of weapons
bad: arrows sometimes disappear upon fire, people do not act accordingly to weapons (if i have them out, but not aiming, they stand still), and if you press space in the air it is possible to aim from there
This game was absolutely fantastic! It looks great, plays well, the music is very easy to listen to and it is VERY fun.
The only thing that bugs me is the ending. I honestly expected an epic ending after everything i went through and felt i got ripped off. You had to shoot lasers at him!!! Made no sense...
Otherwise, an amazing game :)
Child's Play, far too easy and very boring
the variety of the puzzles was alright, but a few concepts were re-used.
while using pigs can fly as a background for the game was awesome, and the music was relaxing, overall, not that good of a game 3/5
There are several glitches and simple things wrong with this game.
Glitches: Some levels simply freeze (this is prevalent on "shaft"), the character you switch to is often stuck in a certain position (which is always somehow resolved by jumping), when restarting a level some of the characters may be in climbing positions...
Wrongs: Jumping to a ledge is not very responsive (it actually cost me quite a few times on "run to the hills"), the character movement is far too slow especially when some switches are rather far apart, the "boost" does not always work...
I am giving this a 3 for its innovation and requirement for some thought, but it is an otherwise monotonous game.
My does it slow movement after a certain point ?
There were a few times when i was waiting for something to fall off screen and i had to wait a good five minutes because it was slowed down >>
Much of the time, undefined adventurers show up. Most of the time, they are simply white blocks, but sometimes will have character portraits of actual adventurers. Whatever that picture is, they always seem to have "Takes and deals extra damage." They usually level up normally, but now, this just happened, i got a Level 107 undefined that actually looks like a paladin.
This could be a bug, or just a side-effect of continuing a done playthrough, but i think it should be fixed. :P
A calm, relaxing game, which although very simple, is still very interesting due to the metaphors hidden within.
The only thing you should really add is a warning for epileptic people, those rapidly changing colours can really hurt the eyes sometimes. ><
With overly sensitive controls and music that frequently gave me a headache and a want to put my computer on mute, the only thing that could save this game was the gameplay. Mind you, I find the pixel graphics quite fitting so as to hide the truth about this game.
While I admit that i had at first found the game extremely boring and actually rather annoying, as I progressed through the game, and explored further and further, the game grabbed me and brought me back.
The exploration of such a large world may seem quite daunting and tedious, but in the end, it was well worth it for such an immersive experience. I never thought the actions I took would have an impact on anything in the story, yet it did.
Well done, this is one of the better games i have played, here in this vast internet.
So i just fought someone and three things went weird:
1 - I stunned him with my counter-attack (passive skill for Mutants: Fury) and he stayed in front of me ("should" have been fixed >>)
2 - I attacked him, he dodged (moving him back to his original position) and then i attacked him again (without me applying to attack actions)
3 - My last attacked killed my opponent, yet he raised his weapon in triumph...
Bugs?
