Hedgehog Launch 2

I am a big fan of Hedgehog launch 1. While I like several of the new features of this version, several things need to change to make it as good as the original. First of all, the display on the bottom needs to go away. It blocks too much of the screen and makes it so you can't see what you need to do as you fall. Second, everything feels like you are pushing against molasses. It is like the difference between a stick shift and an automatic transmission. If this game were to get version 1's sense of zippy motion and field of view I would enjoy trying out some of the new features. I like the magnet so far.

A lot of fun. I thought there was an enormous jump in difficulty between level 9 and 10. Level 12 was a lot easier than either 10 or 11. I'm not sure what my problem was with 11 since it turned out to be pretty easy after I worked it out. Level 10 was my hard level. Even when I solved it, my robot was doing junk commands after the last square was lit. 194 commands. Probably could have been much lower if I had been more efficient on earlier levels.

Thank you to AcidFlux on the tic-tac-toe link http://www.wikihow.com/Win-at-Tic-Tac-Toe I beat the game the first time around with no problem on the tic-tac-toe, but now that there was a badge I was having trouble for some reason.

I did not play before you changed the speed of the line, but I liked the way it went now. I don't know whether I am good at this type of game or not, but I finished all of it. I am very good at Filler type games which this somewhat resembles, so I can't say if I am a whiz and did very well, or if the faster line was a crutch that enabled even a poor player to do well. I do know that I had a good time.

Challenge sixteen betrays a serious lack of understanding of what makes games fun. I have been playing strategic card and board game for decades. I have played on the Magic the Gathering Pro Tour. I understand card games. This game in general is fairly fun and well done, but the challenges are poorly thought out, especially 10 and 16. 16 in particular is riddled with "you lose" cards. You can play carefully and well, and then City of Ry'leh will come up and "oops, you got the queen of spades." The game and general execution are good enough for a 5/5. The challenges are so poorly thought out that my rating goes down to 3/5.

This game has a big problem in that there is very little margin between a fight that is too hard to win and so easy you can't lose. For the most part it errs on the too easy side, which makes it very very boring. On the other hand, it is a good game to play while the Olympics are on because it requires almost no attention.

It's very frustrating that your fairy sometimes forgets all she has learned, even without dieing. About half of my deaths are a result of my fairy suddenly being reduced to base stats for no discernible reason.

First of all, the game is good and I gave it a 5. The only change I would suggest is rather than having the bubble pop when it touches the side, I would like it to freeze as in filler. Second of all, for challenge 12 all you have to do is make a circle big enough to get the four in the center. Then immediately start a new circle to get all the spawn when they bounce back to the middle. Do the same thing with the outer ring as they converge to the center.

People have asked about challenge 9. Make a disk to kill the two right dots. Then immediately start a disk in the center, maneuver it to the left between the two fat dots and get it somewhat large. All the dots will converge on the right side. Get them. Two bursts of three will be released. Make another disk and get them when they also converge. You have to be precise and on tempo.

Thank you Azluna on the level five. It had not occurred to me to not kill any of the dots. I was trying various combination of initial dots to kill, but had not tried an empty circle.

Zelthax: The award is for getting killed when a biter lunges from offscreen. You remain onscreen, the point is that it starts its lunge when you can't see it. Incidentally, that was my 25th award that got me the card. Congratulations, you died, here's your card.

Very fun. The menus are extremely stylish. The only quibble I had was the instructions on diazapam were vague. I thought it was right click, it turns out to be right arrow key.

The doctor does not have a crowbar, he has a Caduceus. It's a traditional symbol for medicine. It looks like a stick with two serpents wrapped around it.

Ahhhh. So Easy, card on the first try. This game makes up for IndestructoTank being the card game last week. For all the people out there who gave that game an "easy" comment but who can't win in this game, I would like to take the opportunity to laugh in your faces. Ho Ho. Ha Ha.

If you cheat in this game you are an incredible loser. This game is the easiest ever. Just never buy Demolishers from Alexandria, they will kill your own team pronto. Once you take the first big city you can't be beat. The game gets way too easy as it goes along.

Whew, it seems that typing this all out was a help to me as well. I finally got the 50 in the game I was playing while typing the rules out. Good luck to all of you, I probably won't be playing this again.

Other random stuff. Because the game is a race between your experience and fuel, the boom bar is not a source of danger. - This is something I was worried about when I could not understand why I blew up. Use it to prolong your combos and don't worry that something bad will happen if you let it flash too long. Also, just as experience you don't spend on a level will carry over to the next time you can spend experience, experience that you get on a level that exceeds the cap for that level will carry over to the next level as experience you have already accrued for that new level. So if you get 120 points on level one, but it has a level cap of 100 points, on level two your experience bar will start at 20. This is why levels seem to end so quickly some times. You had a lot of experience built up from the previous level and only needed a little to satisfy the new level.

Implications and important rules. The game is a race. Each level is a race to get enough experience to end the level and then touch the ground to be awarded that experience before you run out of fuel and explode. You must get longer and longer combos to achieve this and you must keep in mind that you are in a race. You are not solely picking your combos and fooling around, you are on a time limit. When your fuel gage starts flashing, you must try to get enough of a combo to fill the experience bar and then touch the ground fairly quickly. Next level will have more chances and most likely more things to bounce off of, so surviving the level is more important that getting a few more hits on your combo.
