A fact being a actual, present tense, occuring event; is only subject to the present tense. When you say that "As a matter of fact, it rained yesterday", you are lying. As a matter of fact, "yesterday" may be a fiction, a dream of your mind. to show that it "rained yesterday", it must BE yesterday, otehrwise it may be fiction. At the chance of losing my build up, i will digress to the 'fact' that technology in some countries has realized itself to the point where paper, video and auditory evidence can be falsified. Nothing is truly 'safe' ,in the general sense, from being mistaken as a lie. Fiction/false is described as being the absence or opposite of Fact/truth. Light is the presence of enough matter to produce a phosphorescent image, visible by a means of sight. Darkness is the quality of a image, where it is devoid of light. To say that a room is dark is wrong. That room is actually deviod of a light visible to your limited sight. You can make a light bulb, but can you make a dark bulb? Light bulbs bring together then give off light. In theory, a 'dark bulb' would bring together and give off dark(ness).
