@Linousan Hi there. Did not include Faroe Islands because part of Denmark nor Aland because part of Finland ;) We plan to add a trivia section unlocked by those ones. Thanks for the kind rating, first game here :)
Updates are great! But now we have more than 90 usable items, and 50 other items… searching an item becomes tedious!
We need a “Cook Book” (spices/vegetables/fruits), a “Gardening Booklet” (compost scraps and bags/seeds/water can) and a “Metallurgic Log” (ores/bars/rolls/coal/firewood).
New quests to get them? Do Rusty, Emma and Aspen give quests? Hmmm…
This game is challenging! I type slowly and english is not my mother tongue! How to beat level 40? Manage to keep in the boiler the letters “I N G L Y” (3 iron, 1 jade and 1 brass each) plus about 5 other iron letters. Then focus on using only adverbs with –ingly suffix. Words don’t need to be too long, they only need to match with the letters in the chambers. Among the existing adverbs (according to dictionary.com) few are recognized by the game (left my list as a shout in my profile). Very clever game! 4/5
What are we supposed to do with all those surplus metals? Would Wystan pay for it? Metals should be allowed to be sold when the quests they are needed are completed (remember those 50 gold…those 50 tin…?). Let’s say 50 spores a zinc, iron or a tin bar, 100 spores a copper bar, 150 spores a brass, steel or a bronze bar!
Let’s deal with the side effects of grinding, because… “Too much of anything is not good for you…” (B. White)
So, with level 40 reached, your character cannot experience anymore. “Major mimic invasion“ is a lvl 40 only quest. Why rewarding this quest with 100 XP? More spores or Nid points would be fine!
Tin is too rare! While grinding, i finished Rockbug gold trophy: 45 tin and 186 zinc! In order to minimize the need to farm, the probabilities of dropping tin and zinc should be inverted, for Rockbugs. Getting tin from Rockrats seems even more uncommon...
Everybody is looking for a Lucas, to give him a letter… Lucas Hardy, (Quest SM001) but remember earlier in the game: We had a letter for Lucas, Captain Meelie’s brother (Quest CM003). It is confusing! Mainly in the chat, with the newest players: “Where can I find Lucas?”
Maybe we could change one of the names? Unless you really like perfidious “qui pro quo” …
This game is pretty good but it’s far too unbalanced and boring: the most wanted (side)quest item is . . . compost scraps! I needed about 20 bags of compost so far… more than 200 scraps! What a grind! Please make a stand! Increase the likelihood of getting scraps (Killing "plant mimics", such as dewdrop fungus, should drop scraps.) or create a second way of making scraps (generate scraps after eating some fruits, to regain health. It's fruit skin, after all). Otherwise, change the name of the game for “hobo’s quest” or “remnants of my lunch”!
Very nice game, so far. But, honestly when you want to browse around the floats, to visit them and in some case to vote for them, it is too tedious. 5 clicks only to get in 1 float: menu, then map, then cluster, then select the cluster and finally click the one you want . . . want to visit another one? 5 more clicks! 50 maximum votes per week! Perhaps a “see the next float” button? One man, 50 votes, one tendinitis…
Awesome sound effects! But some huge flaws: Germans walking across bunkers! No close combat skills! Any point blank bonus? Friendly fire effects don’t occur with fire weapons… Very often my trenches vanished…leaving my soldiers in the open ground! I like the AA gun!
Historical background could be improved: German units should be identified (fallschirmjäger, panzergrenadier, Sd.Kfz … und so weiter). Obviously the fight takes place in the “bocage normand”, then you may be awarded a French medal: “la croix de la liberation” (after conquering a big amount of land, for example) Just for more WWII flavor! “ . . . Ici Londres!” 4-/5
Campaign badly needs a "save" option: it took me 2 hours or so to finally die on lvl 43... (campaign without a save = survival marathon)
For the hard badge: easy if you follow the comments by caos35.
Still had some invincibles ennemies (1 tank, 1 jeep, soldiers...) but one only at a time.
Minigames are fun: 3+/5
For the final boss you need to dodge him… his trajectory is slightly incurved…so look carefully at his moves on your radar screen, then choose the good side to dodge him. You need chance too: if you begin the fight too close to him…no escape! I made it after 12 tries (speed: 1/Gun: 115/ shield: the rest).
The game needs a pause and a save option. A bit tedious: 2-/5.
Nice slash n'stab game.
Please survival mode needs a pause option: it would be a kind attention for senior players if game developers care about game ergonomy too. My Achilles survived >100 ennemies (about 30 minutes) but my tendons didn't ;-(
Surprise: a decapitated man can throw his spear, shoot an arrow or finish his swing. . .
Ideas: Chariots and cavalry would be great.
3+/5
