Well it's been about 2 years since I played Hunterstory on Kong and I find my data is gone. Came with the new hard drive I got. Either way, if you need questions, I can help. Don't expect me to be better though for a good while. I have to get my +100 accends again.
Rank is based off of score- your score is whatever you got x10 and then x the % for acceracy and then repel so...
(((score X 10) X Acc %) X Repel %).... I.e you get 104,605 points for a match lets say and 89% acc and 97% repel... it would go (((104,605 X 10) X 89%) x 97%) for a total of 903,054 points.
I'm not certain if I should comment on this.... anyway- I'm now doing this on Psycho Heroic (would do no training missions but I already got imp badge from bio) and I'll comment as I see tips
-yawn- maybe I should offer my wisdom as I'm probably the only person here with more than 50 acends.
First off - RANK IS DETERMINED BY YOUR SCORE (miss, repel rate, arrow air time (increases score on hit) are all factors in getting high ranks... heck I haven't even gotten an S rank on the green snails myself... anyway. Gray levels mean Normal, Red is Rush, and Blue is boss.
the trick to wining is to use the first power up ability you can as often as possible. Try to time is so that you can use it on the boss (its that green powerup that turns shots to money) it'll help a lot
I don't like the fact that its much harder to get mana now... that and I can't always view the foes hp - they have to be on a set line... Defeating 20+ units at once isn't too bad when you use just arrows magik- if they get close, throw in a few units and stall while arrows cut them down.
I love this game. My friend is a developer and he showed me this before it was auctioned off to Epic Shadow. I made it to floor 63 before I finnaly died... was going for the next door too T.T
well I misspelled something in there, but it doesn't matter. Point is that you want to use shrines to your advantage in every situation... in x3 maps go for them with Grade 6 gems for the 300 exp boost (turns into 900)
there are many ways to maximize your score at the end (1000 points= 1 exp).
You can get badges to increase your exp (recomended to just go with traps or towers and avoid gem bombs altogether)
and use Exp Shrine towers to your advantage... drop a high level in it early for a 20% score boost, as well as every monster on the field boosting your current score. The other think is that you want to squeeze as much as you can, staying just out of range of dying, but summoning enough foes to deal with.
The best way to ensure you have an easy time early on is to use the first power up skill and get hit by EVERY single attack, because it converts attacks into coins
finnaly the courruptor- DO NOT GO AFTER THE ORBS- you want Subversion, withdrawl, 1 crystalize and any poison skills you have for this match. The Orb of Sactuary heals itself and the Orb of Restraint takes 10x more dmg and 6000 dmg each turn- focus on the corruptor and stun the Sactuary. Subvert the Restraint every so often and use Withdrawl on it to heal its hp to max, continue till Corruptor is dead
Yosuke deals a ton of dmg and takes 1 from all attacks, but I think there is a glitch where he takes dmg from periodic dmg, do the same thing as South gaurd
North and South Gaurds aren't easy- kill 1 and the other gains a 1 shot move... Focus on the north one while the south is crystalized, after you kill the north, continue stunning and use poison skills and hit it with infect on the last turn its stuned- repeat till dead
