very colorful and amusing, but maybe make it so it's not impossible to move some places? the way you have the traps set up at times make it impossible to move in some places and get all the bugs you need
Well, great game, great speed, awesome feel and music with great stage layout, but you need to make it bigger. half the time I couldn't see if I was jumping onto spikes or wall or black fluffy marshmallow. still, 3/5 even though the size kinda breaks it for me.
This has some of the catchiest music I've ever heard in a minimalist game, coupled with super frustrating pixel perfect gameplay. And I just came from Give Up
Great game, just the perfect amount of challenge whilst keeping that small glimmer of success left over. My only complaint though is that sometimes, even when doing the exact same thing as last try (eg, holding forward) sometimes you get different outcomes (sometimes you hit the saw, sometimes you don't)
Okay, so there are no zombies in the city, we have walls around here, and we've been innoculated against turning into zombies. But we need to have a soldier with us, just in case something happens!
If you try to click back to home from a game, you get stuck in an infinite loop
The message to confirm will come up, you click yes, the borders close then open, then it's the main screen, but with the message still there. click yes again and same thing happens. click no and the message goes away, but you can't do anything until you refresh. I doubt that's intentional
Revision of my previous comment: The platforms idea is a good one, maybe have electrified floors when they get brought out, or electrified platforms. Add turrets on the walls as well as the lasers. Nerf shields a little bit, as they stand now just a well-pressed tap or a short hold will carry you without dying once. More levels! I'd like an endless mode, that draws from a random assortement of bosses each time you re-enter the machine. More songs, so that each level could have a sort of randomness to it. Stunning land mines, that will make it that if you hit them when their primed you can't use your shield for a bit, or get blinded, or just plain death. Let us know when we get an exclusive platbot, play a special sound or have a message pop in. Allow key re-allotment, I can't count how many times I tried to jump with the up-arrow. All in all, a great game, even in it's beta!
I agree with Lancer, having platforms added in, maybe wall mounted guns, or stunning land mines crop in would be awesome. Also, does the platbot customization currently work? Or am I just that derpy lol
Oh, and make achievements less of a big deal? It kinda was irritating to be in the middle of selling/upgrading/building, only to lost your groove and be dragged over to a big "LOOK WHAT YOU DID" screen... -.-
I agree with everyone else so far, the difficulty curve going from level 2 to level 3 is insane, needs to have more levels, a more expansive upgrade tree (in my opinion) and an easier way to replay levels from before... though it DOES make sense as to why you can't, story wise. Gameplay wise though, it's just not smart.
If I get enough support, I'll do Class Overviews on all the classes, plus more in-depth guides on my profile and Survival and Multiplayer strategies, even a full list of the items in the game ^_^
Class Overview: Chargers are frontline fighters, first in to deal heavy damage and set some fires, and last to leave the battlefield. With exemplary self-healing capabilities, counters, damage upgrades, and good death skills, a Charger is a good addition and leader to any family. The ultimate skill, Omega Strike, will deal 5x the damage on the next attack and set fire to the enemy.
Derpy ;)
