1: Maybe the button for restarting the level shouldn't be right next to the button for advancing to the next wave. Or maybe there should be an "are you sure" thing. 2: Does upgrading past 3 stars do anything other than heal the unit? It doesn't look like it does. But then why does the cost keep going up? 4: Sometimes when I try to upgrade things, I gather coins instead. 5: later on, the coins start to blot out everything else due to the sheer number of them. 6: If I want to upgrade multiple units or upgrade a unit multiple times, it's tedious to have to keep alternating between clicking the upgrade button and clicking the unit I want to upgrade. 7: The color change for a selected icon is too subtle. It's hard to see. 8: Maybe buttons should be grayed out if I can't afford them?

Sometimes, enemies push the active or inactive character into the screen exit. Then you have to reenter, and all the enemies you killed are alive again. If the two characters are standing on two different switches that open the same door, and one of them steps off, the door closes, even though it should still be open because one of them is still on a switch that opens it.

Level 1 sometimes spawns me inside a wall. Enemies sometimes finish out the action they were in the middle of despite having already died. I don't understand how the bullet-hallways are supposed to be handled if you don't have the dude with the shield. Shield might be more intuitive if you held the button to keep it out, instead of it being a toggle. The mage seems better than the archer, because his attacks deal more damage and seek enemies. Mage is the only character that walk away from an enemy while shooting it. I don't like that allies can't walk through each other. The two-player controls don't look like they'd work if your keyboard doesn't have a number pad.

Are two blobs supposed to be able to share a tile? Because on level 20, the red blob can move into a tile even if the green blob is already on it.

It would be nice to be able to click an adjacent tile to walk onto it, instead of having to click the onscreen arrow buttons. You'd need to change shooting so it only happens if you click on an enemy or crate. For the ambiguous cases of clicking on enemies or crates in adjacent tiles, I say shoot for enemies, move for crates.

Instead of always centering the screen on the character vertically, you could center the screen on a point a little above her when she's jumping, and center it on a point a little below her when she'd falling. That would let you see a little farther in the direction you're headed, which is important for reaction time. (Don't forget to smoothly transition when shifting the location of the center point of the screen relative to the character.)

@MechaPants: I'm sure you just lost a piece of equipment that gave an HP bonus. All shield give such a bonus, for example.

You can equip a shield when you don't have a 1-handed weapon. It can e handy for healing between groups of enemies. But if you try to fight like that, you flail around like you're play-fighting with an imaginary sword. And you do no damage.

Most of the time, when I click a UI element, I attack. So I click to open my character sheet, and I also attack. I click to close my character sheet, and I also attack. I click to open my inventory, and I also attack. You get the idea.

Right now, aiming is ... not good. You can easily wind up firing arrows in the opposite direction of where it looks like you should. http://imgbox.com/b6r5ecan I suggest you make the character always face at wherever the mouse pointer is (even in melee) and always attack in the direction he's facing.

I felt that some of the color options on the color locks were a little too similar. In particular, I got stuck for awhile because I couldn't tell that there were two different shades of purple. Colorblind people would probably be up a creek. Otherwise, there wasn't anything to complain about. And there was actually a pretty impressive variety of puzzles.

I think the changes you've made have been very positive. One more change I might suggest is to give the front fenders of cars the same treatment as beetle mandibles, make them stay red when the car is still capable of hurting you from that side.

Forget what I said about Helhog being the "anti-swarm" monster. It doesn't seem to actually perform very well in that capacity, despite what the name of the "Area Damage" special ability had lead me to believe.

I don't understand what some of the monsters are for. I mean, Rabbid is clearly the high-DPS monster. Helhog is the anti-swarm monster. And Vangbat is the debilitater/enemy-special-ability-negater. But why do I want to use the others once I can get those three?

Would be nice if, once you got the staff, you could see vague outlines of the platforms even when they're intangible. So you wouldn't need to keep activating the staff and zooming out whenever you got to a new area to check if there were any platforms. Alternately, the platforms could have been merely invisible, rather than also intangible, and touching them could have dispelled the glamour, the platforms could have been used to access side areas containing secrets and powerups instead of progressing through the main game, and the staff could have been a late-game acquisition to help you scour the map for anything you'd missed. Either way, it would have been cool to have wall that worked the reverse of however the platforms worked, hidden passages instead of hidden platforms.
