GOBLIN SIEGE!!! A squad of gobbo marksmen led by a gobbo pikeman. They aren’t lasting long against my hall o’ death, though.

hmm, scratch that, I think 14 dead, I’m not completely sure. Anyway, I have at least three gobbo prisoners, including one gobbo commander.

Wheeee!!!!
I officially have my first dorf-y fort!!! My militia commander is "The Sisko, a Legendary +1 Marksdwarf wielding a Masterful Iron Crossbow. The entrance to my fort is a windy, trap-filled path in plain view of my battlements with a 3 z-level drop off on all sides. I plan on putting some upright spike traps in the dropoff eventually.

O.o one of my dwarves is in a metalsmithing mood… and I have no metal. He keeps asking for “rock bars”… idk if he means metal bars, or rock blocks…

wow… I was fighting off a Desert Titan… then the Titan saw a raccoon… then proceeded to shoot fireballs at it… and started a huge fire…

OH HOLY SHEEEETTTTT!!!!! Three squads of goblins(including a squad of ARCHERS) and a group of trolls are attacking me now!!!!!
All of the goblins are mounted on (thankfully flightless) elk birds.

One of my guys got a “mood”… and he started drawing SKELETONS…. so I walled him into the crafting bench he’s sitting in…
I don’t want him going around killing my dwarves.

I think I have the perfect spawn. I’m right by a bunch of water sources, but I actually don’t even need to worry about that because the dirt I’m digging into is already moist. And about 5 levels down, I have OBSIDIAN!!!

Well, I didn’t have my army completely setup (I couldn’t figure out how to set some walls + a door as an actual building so I could properly setup barracks) and a bunch of goblins massacred everyone. So I created a new world and removed all the aquifers. =P

I think I finally have Adventure Mode down. I have a peasant that helps me in combat, and he’s almost as badass as I am.

Argh, no matter how much I try, I can never survive longer than an hour or so. I’ve tried different defensive builds, but none of them seem to work…
