I liked the original game, but I absolutely and utterly hate the look of the new version. Not going to play this ever. Also, from what I saw of it, it's needlessly complicated. Real shame for the wasted effort.
Good idea in general, but if bad controls kill you 10 times after you already know how to solve the puzzle, it gets frustrating, rather than interesting or challenging.
When in the game, clicking on a grayed 'gem' turns it around permanently and it's then inactive.
And the 'tutorial' at the start is just confusing, not informative.
While not yet solved the problem pointed out, the game now has the option to put all the pieces in the original position just pressing the A key, so there will be no more missed pieces during a game session! And more improvements will come soon. Thank you again.
My original concept had lots of layers. In fact the code still allows for that. Then I realised (a) unless you go beyond a 2D square grid, more than two are redundant, and (b) it's actually quite hard enough with just two!
Decent work, last level is still very frustrating though. Solved it by pressing both jumps at once, don't see an alternative for it in spite the alleged update. I wonder though, why are these melancholic/ depressed stories so popular lately? Depressed, melancholic and such don't actually equate to 'deep' or anything.
Coming to this one after checking out a couple of other 'Flylands'. You might be having something here, but it still needs a lot more work. Rather than flooding the site with so many versions, you should first get one solid game together.
Guess this one an actual 1/5, a rare occurrence for sure. No matter how one spins it, there is no game here and not much of a visible effort from the developer either.
I guess this is bugged. I only get a playing area the size of the 'stencyl' logo as play area, in the middle of the much larger usual game area that is now gray. Moving the figure (the knight?) off this small play area apparently kills it, since the thing restarts.
