in book of mages more total bolts is always better than fewer stronger bolts…. your total number of bolts is what is going to be used to determine how many hit and then the damage is calculated…. also Desert is hard to play early on but by the end you are throwing 25-30 total bolts and all of them are degrading the enemy’s special meter….
