Sweet and mighty things yes, I'm bloody ecstatic over seeing this after some sporadic, stoic digging through the idle/mmo-fest that Kong has understandably become. Much love thank you, thank you, thank you for the hard work. <3
What really makes this game feel good is your level design. It shows that you've played through the game yourself a few times, because how the game allows different "paths" through the obstacle is really satisfying and dynamic. It's like short cuts, even parts where you have structural weaknesses to make it feel like my vehicle has gotten better. The 5% engine bonus was a nice touch as well, to make sure that I almost cannot fail a level once I've upgraded everything. 3.8/5
Just to offer a counter-point: I like this because it doesn't have minimum moves or stars! They make me frustrated, and saps the fun out of even beating a stage if it's not optimised for best score.
If you're considering adding either, please make them optional. As for now, this is a challenging toy and it's fun.
:D Thanks Merido! I'm really pleased to hear many people appreciate the game not having a move limit or for that matter a star-ranking system in it. The hope was to make 10 simple. And tricky ;)
That was actually an excellent and well made point 'n' click game. The most important thing is how the music encouraged a faster pacing of play. That was, as already said, ten really well spent minutes. If there's anything you can improve on straight away, it's the grammar at the end; also if you click on an action several times, the action repeats - some kind of checks would be needed there to stop it.
Cheers! :)
Great game! If you listen to the comments you could absolutely make this a popular app. :) One possible addition to seal the deal there would be releasing the game with a myriad of little duck-related pictures (like the ones you used, but MANY more) that people could use with text squares to make their own, shareable adventures.
Anyway, I digress. I felt the exclusion of sound & music shining with its absence. I do appreciate that I could listen to whatever I wanted (which absolutely affected my "play style"), but make silence an option. Otherwise it feels a bit more empty.
Thanks for the game!
Absolutely fantastic game concept. Haven't seen anything like it executed like this. Literally jaw-dropping. Pretty controversial to name the achievement "Murder" as well as giving us points for it.
I honestly couldn't find any information on what the different stats does and what upgrading them will benefit. As the skills doesn't seem to be undo-able I don't know what to pick and they game isn't helping at all. Won't be playing more until it's explained, holding my vote for now.
Fun and interesting game! Though it boiled down to a grind towards the end (Japan and onwards). :) It was mostly about waiting for money, buying the appropiate zombie, invading and repeating.
I found it fun though and I DEFINITELY want to so more of this - so an encouraging 5/5 for you!
Infinite money: Buy as many green eggs you can. Generate them all into Kappas. Sell them once they've been trained for a $35 profit. Want even more money? Place them in a pen first and up the price with $20.
This works for all the creatures, but that makes it possible for you to gain a lot of money immediately. Isn't this a bit imbalanced, littlegiantworld? :/ A 4/5 game nevertheless!
