There are rather a lot of typos, even in important dialogue regarding testimony and clues. It doesn't obstruct the meaning enough to derail the story-line, but it's a little jarring. Considering the game is mostly dialogue, it could have used another pass for editing.
I don't understand the design of this game. It introduces power-ups, and then forgets about them. It gives out a first-time bonus, and then cuts the bonus severely for taking several hits, the upgrade system is absurdly priced, even with the developer updating the replay bonuses. This isn't the kind of game I expect to have to grind in. And my favorite part was after I lost several times in a row, the game asked if I would like to upgrade my snake, even though I couldn't afford any upgrades at the moment.
I really like it. Just a few things that could use adjusting: Some of the hit-boxes are deceptively sized (in most cases, larger than the graphics), the boosters sometimes spawn so that they overlap and you can't enter either of them, the achievements for money spent only trigger if you spend that much in one day (makes it very hard to save up for the last one), the rocket's boosters fall away until they hit the edge of your screen, where they seem to pause in mid-air if you go back to look at them, and some minor physics things could probably use tweaking. Also, I really think you should get a bonus for having your rocket crash to the ground in one piece. Salvage bonus perhaps? ^_^
Interesting game. I like how you don't need to do tons of 50-foot-runs to earn enough money to start doing well. But the shop is a little chaotic, and there's no reason for a dummy to be bleeding.
The Pool minigame increases the distance to the pool every time you land in it. So you need to start with the beginning car (and exploding body parts, in case you land short), and use the better cars as the pool gets farther away. I find it's a great way to make money.
BUGS: For me, whenever I press the '2' key, the dummy freezes in place. And whenever I press the '4' key, a penguin with a rocket on his back shows up to lift me away, though I haven't purchased any upgrades which have mentioned this as a feature ... Should this be happening?
Did you know: An EMP would actually disable all of the computers inside of an aircraft, therefore causing it to crash to the ground? Yeah, so why does an EMP have no effect on aircraft in this game?
Awful, awful dialogue. The sword controls are kinda' weird, and quick-time events with letter keys? I don't think so. At least give me an arrow, so I don't get too frustrated on the second level to keep playing. Or stop adding quick-time events to these games. They serve no other purpose than to link together violence vaguely based on a contrived plot and suggest some small level of variability in game-play.
Unwieldy physics, a rag-doll character, a seemingly arbitrary scoring system, incredibly long levels, and an unforgiving crash system make this game really annoying to play. Also, the level descriptions aren't very accurate, and I don't think you've ever been snowboarding, because it isn't like that at all.
People asking for a longer game, or the option for more adventuring, are missing the entire point of the game. Haha, oh well. It was clever. ( It's actually a shame it was so short--it would have made a great generic RPG ^_^ )
Unimaginative (even for a sniper game), with atrocious spelling and a contrived plot. With absolutely no penalty for missing or failing, and no replay value, I would at least expect the story to be compelling, or maybe tried with the artwork or difficulty level, but you didn't. I think you could have done much better.
Your characters lie about the dumbest things. It's also incredibly easy, but the ending gauntlet is terribly annoying, because if you guess one thing wrong, you have to go all the way back to the beginning. Otherwise, it's a pretty interesting game.
The way the water fails to re-enter pipes forces the player to conform to the creator's intended solution, and stifles creativity. Also, the physics and animation are sub-par. For example, water will defy gravity and travel back up a pipe if you tell it to. Interesting, but a little annoying.
Possessive tense. Learn it. There's at least one typo on every page. And for a game based almost entirely on collision detection, it could use some work. Also, there really isn't much to buy, or much challenge to it. It's okay, but not great.
The knife part is interesting, but why does the assassin have Parkinson's? Haha, it would be nice to have a little more control over it.
Otherwise, it's pretty well made, just not all that original or groundbreaking.
